Subject: Urgent Sanitation Complaint – Tim Hortons at Richmond Centre (Final Notice Before Public Health Complaint)

Dear Tim Hortons Management and Franchise Owner,

I am writing with serious concern and deep frustration about the unacceptable sanitary conditions at your Richmond Centre location in Richmond, BC.

Despite multiple prior complaints, no action has been taken to address the appalling state of the men’s washroom and the general cleanliness of the restaurant. The situation has now deteriorated to an uninhabitable level: fleas are visibly crawling across the floors, and the entire facility is filthy, foul-smelling, and extremely unsanitary. The floors appear to have not been properly cleaned or sanitized in years, and the stench inside is intolerable.

This is not only a customer service issue — it is a serious public health violation. As a food-serving establishment, you have a duty to maintain basic hygiene standards to protect your customers and staff. Failing to address this raises major health and safety concerns.

I have attached photo evidence of the conditions for your immediate review. If no action is taken, I will proceed to file formal complaints with the City of Richmond Bylaw & Health Department, Fraser Health Authority, and Tim Hortons Corporate Office. I will also consider making this public if the situation is not resolved.

This is my final notice to the franchisee and ownership before escalating the matter to external authorities. I strongly urge you to take this complaint seriously and act without delay.

Yesterday, around 7 pm, I ordered a double-double coffee but received a black coffee instead. When I informed the person who took my order about the mistake, she insisted that the computer screen showed no error in my order and suggested that I should have checked the screen before finalizing my order. I then asked her if she could fix my order by adding 2 spoons of sugar and 2 of cream to my coffee, but she refused. When I requested her name to file a complaint, she declined to give me her name. As a result, I took a picture of her to be able to identify the unprofessional employee who lacked customer service skills and seemed to feel entitled to mistreat customers with no care to provide them with what they wanted. As I left the store, the manager walked by the exit door and opened it, yelling that I should come back to the store and threatening to call the cops because I had taken a picture of the obnoxious employee who took my order. The level of unprofessionalism of these two individuals should never be represented at such businesses. Instead of trying to calm the situation and handle this in a way that doesn’t make everyone uncomfortable, the manager insisted on doing the opposite and made the customer (me) feel uncomfortable with hostile and aggressive behaviour. This is embarrassing and will make people not want to go back to this Tim Horton. These two should immediately be replaced and fired from that store; otherwise, it won’t be a place anyone will be comfortable visiting or returning to.

It is the best hortons for me. This branch is clean, staffs are efficient and helpful. Coffee are better than the other brand.I like the French Vanilla at here as it is just right, not too sweet or too weak.

I’ve been coming to this location for 4 years ! Some people are great and some people are lazy and rude. I don’t understand why the employees feel like they can talk down at you and make you feel like less than a human. Service is terrible, not genuine and improper. Won’t be coming back.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but seriously, seriously inhuman place.On holiday visiting my girlfriend who lives near here, their ordering system is broken, they blamed us for their ordering system being broken, they got our order wrong three times (!!!) and were generally unhelpful about everythingLast time patronizing Tim Hortons, so much for being Canada's iconic fast foodFood is okay I guess

My recent visit to this location turned sour due to the unpleasant attitude of employee Yanna.Instead of offering helpful guidance, she spoke to me very rudely, leaving me feeling disheartened and dumb.I am a regular customer but this experience saddened and disappointed me, and I'm considering taking my business elsewhere.

This review is primarily targeting the brand, not this specific eatery. I ordered and ate the beef and cheddar cheese sandwich - it was RUBBISH. A stringy, rubbery and limp (thin) slice of beef topped with a garnish (not slice) of cheese. What a rip-off... With it I had a cream of brocoli soup, which was quite good. The soup, helped salvage this review Timmy & Co! Oh Canada....
