Pancake compared to last time was such a huge downgrade. Second picture was from last time. Thickness reduced, texture and flavour are subpar as well.
Even worse, this time, both pancakes are burnt and tasted bitter. So had to wait 20 minutes for a new one.
A mere apology is simply not enough. And the audacity to ask for 18% minimum tips on the machine is laughable.
Do not recommend.

My friend and I were so delighted with our breakfast today. The brioche with cream with fresh fruit was incredible, the presentation amazing and great service. My new favour breakfasts place.

First time at Toast to Coast and were not disappointed. Really tasty food with large portions (definitely worth the price) we shared the Fisherman's Feast and the Pancakes and we were both stuffed! Loved the atmosphere/music was real chill and the staff were very attentive and helpful. Great place for a lovely brunch

Atmosphere was good and service was great. Food is decent and a bit pricy compared to other Korean style/western influenced breakfast places. Wait time can be a bit long since the place is quite small.

A certain return to spot! Had a great morning walking along the Richmond Dyke, and for brunch afterwards we stopped at Toast to Coast. We weren’t too sure what to expect going in, but were both super super impressed with the food. We got the walk around the block and the Super Bowl and both were outstanding in their own way. Honestly one of the better if not best meals out we had both had in a while. Looking forward to the next time we drop in :)

We ordered a Super Bowl and Charlotte’s Pancakes. Both items were so delicious. The hash cubes were so good, I’ve never had hash browns or potatoes like this before, crispy on the outside but tender and flavourful on the inside. The veggies and thick bacon chunks were so good and go so well together. Pancakes were moist and fluffy and works well paired with the fruits and syrups.
The strawberry matcha latte had a very strong matcha taste and goes so well with the strawberry puree. This is a must try!

I was disappointed because the reviews were high, and I had great expectations from them. Bacon were bland, hashbrowns were oily. Toasts were buttered a small dap in the middle. Eggs were not over easy like I asked for. Salad dressing was a bit too sweet. The chicken waffle was bad. Not crispy, too oily. Should have some greens with it. 'Not the rosemary'. Syrup is a bit spicy. The dining area was too crowded.

I've been here many times, and the food quality has always been excellent. The flavors are particularly amazing. I especially love their matcha latte, it’s the best I've had in Vancouver!
Today, on this cold rainy day, we came back, and the owner warmly welcomed us with two drinks, making us feel truly warm inside. Thank you Toast to Coast, you made my day :) Will come back soon!

There are quite a few brunch spots in Steveston but I came to this one due to the reviews -- did not disappoint! It's a must-visit for any enjoyers of a unique brunch experience. The Korean-inspired menu adds a fun twist to Canadian classics, and the ambiance is top-notch. The interior feels clean and well-planned out, with a cute photo booth, too.
I tried the Fisherman's Feast and the Korean Fried Chicken & Waffles, and the latter was especially delicious. The portions are great, and each dish comes with very nice complementary sides, like the hash brown blocks, assorted house-made pickles, and creative sauces (the waffles came with a gochujang-inspired syrup).
I've read a few comments about service, but it's probably as good as it can be with the limited staff and busy clientele, as there was a line to get in. Our orders were promptly taken, and food arrived quickly.
I will be revisiting the next time I visit Steveston!

Not recommended the “Korean Benny”.
- Meat is too sweet
- English muffin is too soggy and kinda mushy
- Hash brown is too salty and oily
- Kimchi has no favors
- Hollandaise sauce is tasteless
- Overall the beef bulgogi doesn’t go well with the benny, but the soft poached eggs is perfect
- Maybe add lettuce between muffins and the meat; also use the stronger flavors kimchi may help to refresh the meat.
