Minimum bets were too high, no $5/$10 tables. Majority of playing spaces are electronic which is not fun, might as well gamble on your phone. Wanted to roll dice and play craps with the boys but it was all electronic tables... I've been to better casinos. This one's set up for efficiency not fun.
Very dated place and one of the worst beds I've ever slept in.TV remote didn't work and as you can see from the picture, it hasn't been cleaned since 1984.No water, just a sign stating to "enjoy the complimentary bottle of water".Good location, close to SkyTrain.

We're in a long distance relationship, and Tramonto was our first date together in January 2018. We really enjoyed the calm atmosphere which made it feel like a more intimate experience, and our server was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the salmon and my boyfriend ordered the steak with lobster and wild mushrooms (I'm still kicking myself for not getting the same thing!) but both meals were still amazing. We tried a little bit of each, and he loved the pairing and flavours with the wild mushrooms and steak. For a first date this was the perfect experience, and a great view paired with fine dining and professional service. I feel the only downside is that the menu seems to change throughout the year. I'm guessing to serve what's fresh / available at the time, which is definitely understandable. (Visited in January 2018. Created an account to share our new and previous experiences).
Our party of six arrived for our reservation as the doors opened at 5:30. We advised we were heading to the show at 7 pm, yet it was after 7:05 by the time we paid the bill. Fortunately, the event was about 15 minutes late starting. I found it stressful to be so rushed at the end of the meal; it wasn't necessary. They advertise specifically for patrons heading to the theatre. The service was quite good, the decor was comfortable and attractive, the Vespers martini was excellent, and the views of the river were stunning. However, the food was only good. For the price, the food should have been great. I suspect they rely on their clientele coming only for the convenience of being next to the River Rock Theatre, or not wanting to get too far from the casino. If they want returnees, they will need to give their dishes a little something extra. As I said, the food was good, but overpriced for the quality.
Bought my parents a gift card for Christmas, as well as tickets to a show. They enjoyed the food, but were told at the end that they wouldn't accept the gift card. There is also no ambiance in the restaurant, unless you enjoy sitting under an interrogation light. They approached the server about trying to dim the lights, nothing was done. My parents will not be back, nor do I plan on trying the place.
Service and location was ok, the food was a great disappointment, very lacking in flavour. The lobster bisque was a great joke at the table, lobster flavour broth with 1 prawn on the side. The sable fish was the worst I have ever had. This was not our first time at this restaurant, it will be our last.
Restaurantji Recommends
We went on Valentines Day. Unfortunately I took an hour and a hlaf to get our food. Apparently one of their staff which is our server just walk out that day. Staff dont have the clue, however they should wonder why there's no food yet on the guest table and they should see that orders are not pickup at the back.
We had a Run Away Waiter... he just went missing in the middle of our 3 1/2 hours dinner. Nobody knew where or what happened to him but the waiter who took over did his job really well even in a stressful situation. Still will recommend this place!
The restaurant doesn’t have any “personality”, extremely overpriced, the Caesar salad was pathetic, few broken leafs of Romain lettuce with on strip of uncooked bacon(since when Caesar salad has bacon?), we ordered Wagyu steak advertised that it comes with steak fries and chimichiuri (???) unexistent. I asked for well done steak it came raw, took myplate away and came 1 minute later after they put it in the microwave probably.the waiter was nice but the rest of staff was annoying. Was barely 9pm and they were cleaning and spraying the tables next to us. For this kind of Italian restaurant they should have a proper chef
It was my birthday when we had dinner at Tramonto. It was our first time to be there. Foods were delicious, place was so beautiful and quiet too. Ambiance was great. We will definitely go back there. Thanks to Shane, Rolwin and Tonilyn... they made our Tramonto experience awesome.
This used to be a great Italian Restaurant, however chefs have changed and the menu is completely new. Unfortunately we didn't check the menu on line since our last visit. We had a very good waiter, and I think he was feeling our pain. The meals both had too much Asian flavour even on my wife's tenderloin steak. My ribs were very dry. They took my salad off the bill. Overall not a good experience.. won't be returning.
