We’ve owed you a good review since Valentine’s Day this year.
Every time I drive back home along the NW hwy, I remind myself to write about how delicious the food was and how much we enjoyed the evening at your place.
It was honestly such an unexpected discovery, since there is nothing in this area where you can really have a great meal.

Great service by servers, portion size is pretty decent but food seems ok ok as it seems like they used old oil for deep frying foods. Average food but if you want great service and ambience then its place to visit for few drinks.

Average pub, nice patio and breeze off the water. Food was fast and tasty but not gourmet. As far as pub fare it was above average. Service was really good.

Food & service were outstanding, if you have not tried them you must. I had the fish and my other half had the schnitzel, both very good ... one piece dinner was huge.

Next time I will try the burger as it was also recommended.

A perfect place for a long conversation with an old friend

Sat down for brunch and was asked for my I.D. I happened to forget it today but was told they couldn’t serve me without it. I understand in terms of serving alcohol but it was unfortunate we couldn’t sit down and eat without showing I.D

I've been here a few times but today May 30th, 2025 I was too kind to be leaving a tip. The tattoo server was having a conversation with me and while I was making a payment and just as the payment went through she just grabbed the machine and bailed away. Very poor customer service. I will rethink my kindness the next I'm there if she serves me again. FYI, the Asian older lady is super kind though.

I’ve enjoyed the excellent food and atmosphere every time I’ve visited, both with colleagues and on my own. Lately, however, I’ve noticed that one of the lady servers seems especially courteous and warm toward my Canadian colleagues, yet somewhat curt and dismissive with me (non-Canadian). For instance, today, when I asked to customize a sandwich by adding parmesan, she rolled her eyes and appeared surprised I would choose that combination. Later, when I simply requested some extra napkins, she bluntly told me I’d have to wait until she finished with another table, so I clarified that I didn’t need them immediately but would appreciate them later. Similarly in the past, when I’ve asked questions about menu items, instead of offering a friendly explanation, she’s simply said, “You can have what you want,” without any guidance.I I may be misreading things, but this inconsistent treatment makes me feel as though I’m somehow less important—perhaps because I’m not Canadian, or simply because she’s been here long enough to behave however she likes. Hope someone from the restaurant takes notice of this. Overall, I won't take anything away from the restaurant and still say it's a great place to eat.

Great place for a bite
