it was my first time purchase from this stall at Lansdowne mall foodcourt although I have been living in Richmond over 20years. To my surprise the curry beef rice and the vietnamese ice coffee were not bad at all particularly to their cost $12. Yes, $12 for a plate of curry beef brisket rice and large cup of ice vietnamese coffee with rich flavor.
Tucked in the food court of the Landsdowne Centre Mall in Richmond. Not bad — I’m surprised at some of the reviews— the won ton pho soup was quite good with plenty of noodles. Could have a bit more veg and maybe another 1 or 2 won tons but quite good otherwise. I asked for low salt and they complied — I really enjoyed the fact that it was not saturated with salt or other flavourings. All in all not a bad place when you’re in the mall and looking for a not too heavy...
Glad I was finally able to try this place. I got the brisket pho. The brisket was super tender with tasty fatty bits. It was good for a light meal. I liked the option of picking between thick udon noodles and medium bun bo hue type noodles. No thin or flat rice noodles here. The menu board is clear and easy to read. The lemon drink was tasty, too. Definitely coming back here.
