This is among the best coffee in the lower mainland. Period. You can’t go wrong. Don’t be a hipster, let the barista do his thing. Artie is awesome, a character, but a great guy and she loves his coffee and people that love it.
I order his roasted beans for my home espresso and aeropress setup and he’s always steered me to the tastiest selections he has.
I think he’s a local legend and treasure.

I've known the owner and this place for years. Good sarcasm and great coffee. Exceptional dark roast beans that I take home and use a moka pot or French press. Cash is king here. This isn't STARSUCKS !! The bad reviews don't make sense because the owner cares here. He's nice and lively but blunt and doesn't like bad manners (who does?) If by accident he made your coffee too sweet or anything...... he would fix it immediately. People that leave bad reviews for not enough seating etcetera are just whiners and should get their substandard coffee at a posh place and show off your latest iPhone. Here you will get an exclusive original coffee roasted with experience and care. My brother visited from Alberta for business recently and absolutely loves this coffee. Him and his coworkers loaded up on pounds of coffee beans. I reccomend the triple D dark roast. I like the other Dark roasts too. Come here for the product ..... ...not the ambience. I have yet to find anything comparable to the dark roast beans here !

Beware! This coffee shop is cheating its customers. I ordered an espresso today, but the owner handed me a weak, watered-down coffee that tasted more like drip coffee from a pot. They served it just 10 seconds after I ordered, which made me suspicious. When I asked if they even had an espresso machine, the owner got angry and started yelling, insisting it was espresso. I heard the owner claims to be Italian or from somewhere in Europe, so he should know what real espresso is. I seriously think the owner is just cheating his customers.

The owner was really kind and enthusiastic about his coffee! I know nothing about coffee roasting and asked what green coffee beans were. They were nice enough to show me them and gave me a handful to take home to germinate!
I bought some dark roast beans an tried an americano and it was so good. I'll have to go back again for some medium roast beans.
