Best local gem
Prices have gone up but then Serving portions deteriorates. Will not go back
Pork xiao long bao is undercooked. I vomit so many times after eating it. So so bad! Be careful it could turn a good day into bad.
Best steamed whole chicken in Vancouver
Tonight, I ordered a takeout dish of stewed seafood with tofu. I only got imitation crab meat, but fortunately it contains actual tofu! Never again order from this restaurant!

Good Chinese food! Lots of choices here. We typically order sweet and sour pork, soy sauce chicken, and broccoli with either beef or seafood (picture has this one).
We also like the fried rice and noodles too.
Plenty of parking in the mall, but you should make a reservation if you plan to come for dinner or on weekends because they can be full.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Wang Ji. After my coworker and I paid at the cashier, we were rudely confronted and chased by one of their staff who accused us of not paying as we were leaving the restaurant. Without double-checking their records, they demanded we return to sort out the issue, causing us significant embarrassment. The staff's unprofessional behavior and lack of courtesy were unacceptable. I won't be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to others.

Chewed on a piece of glass mixed in with my rice....called immidietly and they did not care.
Restaurantji Recommends
The pineapple shrimp fried rice was fantastic, it had a lot of "wok hay" the chefs said. I think that translates to good flavor.
Not sure if they added msg, but it definitely didn't taste like it. Not bad at all.
Interior design was okay. Neat and tidy.
Service is where the star fell off. It was slow and not quite friendly. They favor Cantonese speakers.
Decent price as well, the average around here.
Parking: Lots of parking here! Rarely found d in Richmond.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. One of the servers was unprofessional, chasing me for more tips after I had already tipped 10%. When I politely asked if a tip over 10% was mandatory, the server gave me a rude and dismissive response instead of providing a helpful explanation.
I would not recommend this restaurant unless you are prepared to tip a very high amount, even if the service does not warrant it. The server's behavior was unacceptable and left me feeling frustrated. I will not be returning.
Everything we had tasted great. The service needs improvement, but the food was just that good that you will put up with the unpleasant service.
