I received an email from Wings Restaurant regarding their National Wings Day promotions on July 29, 2025, featuring a $1 wings special. I visited Wings for dinner at approximately 8:30 pm. The lady manager, wearing a green apron, took our orders while multitasking in the kitchen, serving, and bartending.
Our order consisted of maple bacon wings, West Coast lemon pepper wings, Sriracha lime wings, two glasses of Fiji blonde beer, one crispy fish taco, and one spicy minced beef taco. Notably,
the deep-fried fish contained small fish within a thick batter, and the wings seemed smaller than before.
At 9:20 pm, we attempted to order additional food from the Asian waiter with short hair and glasses. He stated that the kitchen was closed and no further orders could be placed, but beer was still available. Unfortunately, the staff failed to announce the last call,
and no apology was offered. As regular customers with high bills, we felt that this was unacceptable. The waitress did not check on us during our meal, and when we were paying, she mentioned that they were understaffed and had sold out of wings. We left a 10% tip, significantly lower than our usual 18% tip. My husband was extremely dissatisfied, and we decided not to return. Their washroom was
extremely messy with tissue paper
all over the floor.

Just ordered food, got dry chips, supposedly called nachos, nothing on them, literally, like 3 olives? Gross fatty wings payed like 60$? Avoid at all cost. U can order from cactus club for the same price and get actually edible food lol

Very kind workers, atmosphere is very welcoming, they never disappoint. On top of the amazing food, the drinks are out of the world and servers as well as the bartender don’t mind any modifications to the cocktails which we loveeeeee 👏 incredible!

Are You Kidding Me? $1.75 for Mayo?

Wings Richmond just lost a customer over one of the most ridiculous, petty charges I’ve ever seen. I ordered their lunch special Chicken Clubhouse sandwich which comes with a side order of fries and asked for some mayonnaise. Nothing special just Mayo, because there was barely any sauce in the sandwich to begin with. No one told me there would be an extra charge, no warning, no signs, nothing. Then I check the bill and find out they charged me $1.75 plus tax for MAYONNAISE. Seriously?

What kind of joke is this? You’re already charging full price for a sandwich lacking in condiments and then sneak in a $1.75 fee for a basic condiment without saying anything? That’s not just bad service that’s straight up scammy. If you’re going to nickel-and-dime your customers for basic condiments, at least be upfront about it. Hiding it until the bill shows up is just shady and unprofessional. On top of that they labelled the mayonnaise as “Ranch Dip” because there’s absolutely no mention anywhere on the menus for mayo.

When I asked the manager about it and presented the menu to show there was absolutely no mention of charges on the menu for mayo, they simply just didn’t care. She brushed it off like it’s totally normal to charge customers extra without telling them.

It’s not about the money or the amount, it’s the principle about the shady way they handle customers. If you want to get gouged for condiments and treated like an afterthought, this is the place for you. Otherwise, skip this place and spend your money somewhere that respects its customers.

The food was average at best, service matched. Between the sneaky up charges, the lack of communication, I’m never going back. I’ll be telling others to steer clear too.

It was a great place to go with adult friends, and also very family-friendly when bringing kids. The pub had a really nice atmosphere. There were a variety of menu options during happy hour, and they even had a kids' menu, which made it easy to bring children.

Although it’s not a place that specializes in food, the quality was quite good for a pub. I was a bit worried about kids making noise since the tables were fairly close together, but the sound from the sports game on the screens was louder, so the kids' noise blended in and wasn’t a problem.

We enjoyed cold beers while watching a hockey game, and the kids had fun with each other too. It was a great experience for both adults and children.

Don't have steak at a wings place. Medium rare came out almost medium well.

Service wasn't great either. Place was almost empty, on a Saturday lunch, and yet we still got ignored and got eye rolls.

Guess there's a reason it was almost empty

Tried Wings Richmond recently. The wings were juicy and cooked well, but the seasonings just weren’t to my taste. Nothing was particularly bad, but overall it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Probably wouldn’t come back again.

Great casual place to go with large TV screens. I liked the spinach dip and the mozza cheese sticks.

Usually not too busy so the service is quick, can't be mad at the price for wings on Sundays
