I went out for a late lunch but made the unfortunate mistake of leaving my wallet at home, so I only had a $20 bill with me. After ordering my meal, I left a tip of about $0.75 from the remaining cash.
When I couldn’t finish three pieces of chicken, I asked for a to-go box, but cashier informed it would cost me 75 cents. I explained my situation, mentioning that I didn’t have my wallet and no cash on me, hoping they might at least provide some foil for my leftovers. The response was that would cost 25 cents. I insisted that I genuinely had no cash and asked if I could use a Apple Pay, but they only accepted cash and had no card machine available.
I even pointed out that I had already tipped them, but it didn’t seem to matter. It was such an embarrassing situation, but she still refused.
In the end, all I received was some oil paper and an elastic band, which felt quite stingy.
I felt incredibly disappointed by the whole experience. It was frustrating that she made me feel guilty for wanting to take my leftovers home. In the end, I just decided to throw them away.
I used to really enjoy this place for its food, but now I’m feeling let down. It seems so greedy and lacking in customer service.
A restaurant must offer great tasting food, exceptional customer service is equally important in defining a customer experience. Without good service, even the best dishes can fall flat. Unfortunately, I read lots of bad reviews , this place lacks that essential quality and doesn't meet the standards of a good restaurant.

Poor customer services , dirty restaurant . Especially this lady , talk shit about me in front of me . Poor them I understood that .
I ordered 12 wings it was supposed to be put on big box , they put on small box , which I couldn’t bring home . I asked bigger box , this lady said extra $0.25 lol with her attitude plus talked shit about me with her co-worker . If she is a boss , congrats you win today but lose tone of customers

Amazing wings, best wings in Canada.
Strange place for it to be the best. Inside the shopping mall Aberdeen Mall food court. But it’s the truth, you won’t find better chicken wings anywhere.
I’ve never tried anything else on their menu and don’t intend to. I believe the majority of bad reviews are based on its name “dessert house” and the other offerings.
It’s a bit of a wait because it’s cooked fresh but well worth it.

Watched four videos on YouTube on Aberdeen Centre Food Court that ALL touted the praises of the chicken wings as Wu Fung Dessert. They were not wrong. In fact I would go so far as to say that they are the best chicken wings I have ever eaten in my entire life. No sauce needed - simply an array of amazing unknown spices that made it so good I went back and got yet another three. Don't let the dessert in the headlining moniker throw you - they do chicken right.

I went Wu Fung for lunch today and clearly ordered deep-fried pork intestine. But when I picked up my food, they gave me braised pork intestine instead.
Before I even took the meal, I noticed the mistake and brought it up right away. The staff told me, “It’s already been cut, so we can’t replace it.” Honestly, I found that response unacceptable.
I never once heard them repeat the order back to me, yet they insisted they did. Their attitude made it feel like it was all my fault for not double-checking the receipt, and they took no responsibility at all for the mistake.
What frustrates me even more is that it was only 12pm when this happened. The restaurant is open until 7pm. Are you seriously telling me that a box of braised pork intestine couldn’t be sold within the next 7 hours? Let’s be real—it’s not that it couldn’t be sold, they just didn’t want to fix the issue.
Yes, I should have checked the receipt more carefully—but a decent restaurant would be willing to handle honest mistakes with some flexibility. The way this was handled showed zero willingness to take care of customers.
Really disappointing service. I won’t be returning, and I’d advise others to double-check their receipts and keep their expectations low when it comes to customer care.

Their chicken wings are the GOAT. If you ever get a chance to try, make sure you order these first as it takes a bit to cook, but soooo worth it!
food is OK, but service is suck. Ordered chicken wings, asked for chopsticks. Insist give me a fork.
12 wings!! They shoved them into a single tiny box, completely exposed in the air. The cashier triple-checked if it was to-go when ordering and still messed it up. Then, I had to waste my time talking to the cashier who felt so clueless, arguing over a 25-cent takeout bag after already paying cash, coming back from washroom and waiting in line for food. They're so cheap and petty, they couldn’t even use more than one box for 12 wings. Avoid this dump at all costs.
Good chicken wings, bring cash
