Great service, great food!
Great food! The service was terrible tho..we had a 630 reservation on a Tuesday night and didn’t get food till after 8! They had two servers and a bartender on staff and it was pretty busy. They needed more staff and had us wait so long so the “kitchen wasn’t overwhelmed” we were told by the bartender!

Roy's Towne Pub is a cozy spot with friendly service. The menu offers personal pizzas, burgers, and mussels, with the Chef's Mussels being a standout dish for its delicate and creamy flavor with Italian herb notes. The pub also features lasagna, which customers have found to be huge and plentiful. While the decor may not be exceptional, the atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for a casual evening out. The food looks delicious and the service is noted to be very good. With live music on weekends and a great selection of beers, this local pub is a fantastic hideaway in Royston.
Recent reviews mention that the fish and chips can be inconsistent; some find the fries excellent, with a thin, tasty batter on the fish, but others feel the portion of fries was lacking or the fish was not as fresh the second time. The pizza is rated as decent, with lots of cheese, chicken, and onions, and some say it is the best pizza in the Comox Valley, making Roy's a regular lunch spot for pizza lovers. Customers also enjoy the terrific beer selection, adding to the pub’s appeal. Despite some mixed experiences with food quality, the friendly atmosphere, live music, and good drinks make Roy's Towne Pub a popular choice for locals and visitors alike.
