We dropped in Thursday 4:30. 2nd time for us . First time terrific . This time not so much. The prawn appetizer was great. My fish and chip dinner was disappointing compared to first time. Greasy and fishie along with greasy fries and the coleslaw was old and tasted like it. We don’t drink so expect good food . Dessert ok but small . We tipped 15 bucks for the staffs sake.

Fish and chips were highly recommended...but they were a firm 6...old and fresh chips mixed and only just warm, fish had extras from the fryer that needed cleaning. Salad wasn't mixed well with dressing.
Pizza rated as a 7. Thicker, lots of cheese, decent amount of chicken, onions. Good
Beer..terrific!

In 1979 we moved to Comox and started going to the Seaside Restaurant owned and operated as a Greek Restaurant(now Roy's) by Tony and Aida. We have many great memories so usually once a year drop in to Roy's and think about the past. We noticed a lot of people eating Pizza so decided to try the Royston Royal. OMG This is the BEST pizza in the Comox Valley. We are putting Roy's on our regular lunch itinerary and suggest you try this hidden gem. Be sure and order the Pizza

Inconsistent with the food. Went there once for fish and chips, my plate was stacked with fries and they were so good. Fish was great - had a thin, bit tasty batter. Did I mention the fries are excellent? Second time I went for fish and chips, fish was still great but I felt ripped off in the fry department. I honestly left there still hungry. I was quite disappointed this time. I will give it one more try one of these days and see what the amount of fries is like. Best out of three ....

Schnitzel was soaked in oil and the open faced beef sandwich was disgusting

No complaints here. Yummy pizza with cheese going all the way out the edge creating an oil that cooks the crust so perfectly on the edge yum.
Friendly service. Beautiful patio.

Wings were over cooked. Last time I was here they sent me a totally burnt schnitzel sandwich. Starting to not like this place.

A fun vibe when hosting live musicians. Large open patio with rooftop in some sections. Staff were friendly and kind. Variety of. beers being served ice cold. Presentation and taste of food was bland. Menu could use revamping.

Their pizza was always great but the last 2 times we were there the pizza was doughy. Not sure what has changed but it’s not the pizza we are used to. We heard this from other people as well. Still love the place.
