When I went to UVic, the food here was good but service was hit or miss. For example, a few times when I ordered a pepperoni pizza, I would be given a spicy Mexican for some reason, and if I asked for a Belgian brownie, they thought I was asking for a Belgian waffle. my social anxiety was too strong for me to correct misunderstandings.
As a Chinese student I am not expecting a taste exactly like home. I ordered Mongolian Black Bean at Chopbox and it is at least ‘acceptable’. They provide free, authentic chili oil, That tastes awesome. Waffle fries at Flamin Chicken taste delicious(except a little overpriced) I would eat here again during the lunch break.
