“It's fine -- fast, most definitely edible, and reasonably priced (when getting one of their deals). A simple little improvement would be for this location to _always_ remember the ordering of the toppings: pepperoni must always go on top, so that it gets crispy -- when making a pizza, one must never put any cheese on top of any type of pepperoni: cheese must always go below pepperoni. And mushrooms must always be at the bottom, so that they don't dry out. Cover with sauce, then mushrooms, then cheese, then pepperoni! :)”

The rice, miso soup, and side dishes complemented the meal beautifully and made for a very satisfying dining experience. Being an owner-chef operated restaurant, the care and attention to detail were evident in every dish. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared. I look forward to coming back and would highly recommend this place.”

“We visited again from Sask and did not disappoint! Amazing! Well worth the wait in line! I had the tuna on salad! And my husband had the halibut fish and chips with a side of the chowder. The chowder was his favourite. Still taking about it. The staff were also fantastic. Friendly and very efficient! For the amount of people served and the small space we were amazed at how spotless the kitchen was. Highly recommend a visit here!!”

“I did enjoy triple take, truth serum, and buzz cut. The distillery tour I enjoyed and it was informative. I personally was not in favor of the peated whiskeys. You can definitely taste the smoke, and it lingered.”

“We were there for dinner and had chicken lababdar and lamb vindaloo with some heat, along with rice and garlic naan. Both meals were delicious and had a good amout of heat (both milder and hotter options were available). The service was attentive and very friendly with our server taking time to discuss options. Staff (owner?) and our server both asked how our food was. All in all it was an excellent and pleasant meal. I will definitely go back.”

Restaurant is large - it has great ambience, the layout provides a personal and intimate feeling despite there being many tables. The food is superb, we plan on returning to make our way through the great menu. It is the best place we have eaten at in Canada for food, service and ambience. We highly recommend the seafood tower as a way to taste through some of the menu. The grilled octopus rivalled what we have eaten in Italy. The pork belly was cooked to perfection. The wine list is extensive and expertly curated.”

“We tried the Wagyu steak and several rolls at TORO, and everything was very delicious. The food quality is consistently good, and the servers are welcoming and friendly. We have visited this restaurant several times, and overall we always enjoy the atmosphere and the food.

The only area that could be improved is the service accuracy and response time. On several visits, we received something different from what we ordered, or the information provided about the specials or menu items was not fully accurate. However, in general, the staff have good behavior and the food is excellent, so we still enjoy coming here.”
