Recently went by one of the best spots on the south island for beer and food. The new seating & decor is top-notch. Mostly locals enjoying a casual hang, but this place is nice enough for a date for sure. I had a business meeting, and it was quiet enough. The service was friendly and flexible, with one guy in particular hitting it out of the ballpark.

Of key importance to me, they’ve got the best beer on the Island, for both quality and range of offerings.

Couldn’t recommend them more highly. A+

My servers Jack and Mary were phenomenal and the food was outstanding as always.

Great local spot for Central Saanich

Cat12 has long been my go-to, back-up, failsafe brewery because of good beer, great food, and the staff were always cheerful and on top of things. Sadly, after several visits this year, I can state that the new staff are today's standard Hipsters who think they are paid to stand around and talk while customers twiddle their thumbs. It now takes a ridiculously long time for a server to show up for a drink order, even when there are hardly any customers, then they ghost the table until you are ready to leave, and they have that general air that there is somewhere they'd rather be. I feel for the management; good help is indeed hard to find.
Please prove me wrong on my next visit!

Greaat. Beer great flat bread great service. The outdoor seating is really pleasant on these beautiful sunny days. The seasonal food menu keeps things really fresh as does some of the rotating taps I mean they always have the tried and true but it's a great time all in all

Love the local spot. 10$ after tax and tip for a 16oz is a little steep. But, the quality and atmosphere is excellent

Solid tasting craft beers. The restaurant is in the middle of an industrial park so it’s not the most scenic location, but the service and beer/food selection compensated for it.

Great place to have a beer. Their selections are always varied and I love how often they put out new stuff. The food has been hit or miss lately. I've had outstanding meals there in the past but the quality has been declining in recent months.

Super great spot for a pint of your liking, and the food is so good. Almost everything on the menu is excellent, mostly just depends on what you like. The hamburger, and the wings are so good. Donairs - mmmmmmm
