Huge family order for a meal break at San Pen; the (owners?) we're a lovely pair and the vibe inside was nice and calm. The food arrived quickly and was excellent - miso soup, firecracker roll Caterpillar rolls were the highlight. Would come back in a second. CenSaitional!

Went in for a bento box for lunch. Was pretty disappointed. Really mediocre food, small portions, and the service was subpar. I would never go back.

This is a nice little spot. Better for takeout, but it does have a small eat-in space. The people who own/run the shop are quite lovely and the sushi itself is pretty yummy.
Vegetarian options: As with most sushi places, lots of good options for vegetarian rolls.
Parking: Lots of parking in the thrifty food parking lot next door.
Small shop. Not great service. Quality no great either. If youre desperate go for it, but there is better sushi not far away.

Ordered a chicken bento box for lunch, mid week. Stood in the store for a couple of minutes before looking for someone. Grabbed a seat, the menu is standard for Greater Victoria. The food itself wasn't great. Pretty sure the chicken was done in the microwave. Of all the sushi places in Victoria, this one has been my least favorite, and I've eaten at a lot of them.
