We used to love stopping by sea cider since we’re in the neighbourhood often but apparently they don’t take walk ins on weekends anymore which I find super strange so I wouldn’t choose it as a spot to go to on a whim or impromptu bike ride anymore sadly

We arrived on a Thursday around 2, were told at least 30 min wait for a table , even though we could see empty tables on patio. . Finally checked back with staff after 45 min as we had gotten no text about a table, and we were seated . Another wait to order food and flights , Luke warm food brought out fairly quickly … but had to wait again for flights to be brought to table . Extra charge for some more chips with our lukewarm dip . Not impressed with the whole experience and would not recommend. Did buy 3 bottles of cider as we did enjoy some of the tastings .

We had the pleasure of getting married at Sea Cider earlier this month and cannot say enough good things about the experience. We had searched for months for a venue (even looking at different countries) and were starting to lose hope before coming across Sea Cider as they were setting up for a wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning and highlights all the best qualities of the west coast. From my first consultation with Evita, I instantly felt at ease and a connection with the staff that I hadn't come across in all of the venues we'd looked at. They were prompt at answering my (many) questions and emails and went above and beyond to make sure we had a beautiful and stress-free day. From start to finish, everything was absolutely seamless, and it would not have been possible without the love and dedication of their team. Our day of coordinator Athena was an absolute angel and even sprinted around the property to locate my father who had unintentionally gone MIA right before I walked down the aisle (lol). We will be forever grateful to Sea Cider and the entire team for all that they did for us on such a special day. Thank you!

Cider flights are delicious and the location is lovely with view of the orchard. Servers are friendly.

We got married here this June and Sea Cider was such a beautiful venue, and the staff were incredible and helpful. We worked with a few different people at the venue from the time we booked (a year and a half before the event) to the wedding day, but they were all amazing along the way. Athena was so friendly and knowledgeable, and she worked with our wedding planner so well that the day went incredibly smoothly. I highly recommend Sea Cider as a venue. The forest area, the beautiful orchard patio with a view of the ocean, and the indoor reception space—which is so stunning on its own that you don’t even really need decorations—were all perfect!

Great views and friendly wedding staff.
Hats off to the woman who was coordinating. She was a mind reader. A teleporting mind reader.

A happy accident brought us here. We were off to pick up guests at the airport but their flight was delayed. We decided to stop at Sea Cider as we went north on the hwy. We lucked out and they had room. Each of us (3) got out one cider flight. And we shared two flatbreads. The ciders are outstanding as are the flatbreads. The dining area is outside with plenty of shade. The views are glorious and we can’t wait to return. Definitely a must do.

The best atmosphere. The best food. The service. Thank you for the best time here.

Please update your hours to reflect your true hours of service. The expectation is if you say you close at 5:00 you should be able to order up until 5:00. This is standard. To not be able to order beyond 4:00 when your hours state that you're open till 5:00 is false advertising. Fixing this on your website will increase customer satisfaction. Pretty frustrating when you gather a little group of people to go down find out that you're taking your last customer at 4:00 and then not even have someone be in the shop at 4:30 when you state you're open till 5:00.

Beautiful space to try some amazing ciders and have some snacks. We biked from Victoria, long but great bike route. Our visit was in November so dress warm for seating. In a building but is slightly chilly. Was impressed by their food selections. We had the charcuterie, add cheese and it was delicious. Ciders have such a variety there’s something for everyone, and a non alcoholic tasting. Want to go back and try the warm crab dip. Definitely a fun little out of the city trip.

Parking: Bike parking available too

I have unfortunately had a horrible experience with Sea Cider, or I should say lack of experience. I sent in a wedding inquiry at the end of August and heard back right away from their event sales specialist. She forwarded their wedding package, and clarified her working hours. I responded stating I was interested in a site visit during her work week. She replied the following week without acknowledging the delay (September 4th) and sent one option for a site visit.
I replied to her within a couple of hours stating when I was available that week, and have been ghosted ever since. I have tried calling her provided phone number, left a voicemail, and even forwarded our conversation to Sea Ciders events email asking to work with someone else, and have received nothing back. I am obviously no longer interested in working with Sea Cider or hosting my wedding there, just posting to give other hopeful brides a heads up.
I will be clear that I have no issue if they aren’t taking on weddings, or are dealing with something internally that will prevent them from going forward. But ghosting and ignoring is just unprofessional.

We came across it by chance on our trip through Canada today and were totally thrilled. Great atmosphere, delicious small local dishes and very, very courteous staff. We can only recommend it!
