Please update your hours to reflect your true hours of service. The expectation is if you say you close at 5:00 you should be able to order up until 5:00. This is standard. To not be able to order beyond 4:00 when your hours state that you're open till 5:00 is false advertising. Fixing this on your website will increase customer satisfaction. Pretty frustrating when you gather a little group of people to go down find out that you're taking your last customer at 4:00 and then not even have someone be in the shop at 4:30 when you state you're open till 5:00.

Beautiful space to try some amazing ciders and have some snacks. We biked from Victoria, long but great bike route. Our visit was in November so dress warm for seating. In a building but is slightly chilly. Was impressed by their food selections. We had the charcuterie, add cheese and it was delicious. Ciders have such a variety there’s something for everyone, and a non alcoholic tasting. Want to go back and try the warm crab dip. Definitely a fun little out of the city trip.

Parking: Bike parking available too

Kid-friendliness: Seemed kid friendly

I have unfortunately had a horrible experience with Sea Cider, or I should say lack of experience. I sent in a wedding inquiry at the end of August and heard back right away from their event sales specialist. She forwarded their wedding package, and clarified her working hours. I responded stating I was interested in a site visit during her work week. She replied the following week without acknowledging the delay (September 4th) and sent one option for a site visit.
I replied to her within a couple of hours stating when I was available that week, and have been ghosted ever since. I have tried calling her provided phone number, left a voicemail, and even forwarded our conversation to Sea Ciders events email asking to work with someone else, and have received nothing back. I am obviously no longer interested in working with Sea Cider or hosting my wedding there, just posting to give other hopeful brides a heads up.
I will be clear that I have no issue if they aren’t taking on weddings, or are dealing with something internally that will prevent them from going forward. But ghosting and ignoring is just unprofessional.

We came across it by chance on our trip through Canada today and were totally thrilled. Great atmosphere, delicious small local dishes and very, very courteous staff. We can only recommend it!

We have gone here a few times. Getting a nice table overlooking the orchard always adds to the ambience. We attended the annual market this past Sunday. Got some nice treats.

Terrible experience.
We had our 2 small dogs with us and when we asked the host for a table, she rudely told us there were no tables available. Told the guy in line behind us the same thing. Didn’t give us a wait time or anything, so we wandered around the store by the host stand and while we were looking at what to buy, overheard her tell the newest couple that had just walked in that she had 2 tables available!
If dogs are not allowed, just tell me and I will happily leave. Don’t lie to me and say that there are no tables available when there actually are. The hostess needs training in how to deal with customers.
Also, the offsales area smelt really bad like body odour. Overall terrible experience and will not be back.

My husband and I got married at Sea Cider in August and it was our dream venue. Working with the Sea Cider staff, in particular Lauren (event coordinator) and Lily (day-of-coordinator), was fantastic. Lily made sure that no detail was forgotten and that our day ran smoothly. She was incredibly thoughtful and went out of her way to ensure our day was perfect. The venue was perfect for our (just over) 100 guests, with views of the ocean and ripening orchard being the stars of the evening. The cider was a hit among all our guests and everyone agreed that Sea Cider was the perfect Island/West Coast wedding location. We’d highly recommend Sea Cider if you’re looking to get married on the Island, we had a wonderful experience!

Superb little cider house/orchard that produces magnificent ciders and a variety of other artisan foods and curiosities. The outdoor restaurant had a modest, yet perfectly suited menu. We had the charcuterie, delish! Marvelous little gem to visit.....

I got married at Sea Cider and would definitely recommend this venue to other couples! Sea Cider’s day-of coordinator Lily was completely on-schedule and continuously checked in with me and my partner to make sure we had cider, felt okay, and grabbed us food when we snuck away for photos during the cocktail hour. She made us feel so taken care of! Our guests gave us many compliments about the staff, decor, and of course the natural beauty of the venue. I couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Yummy cider near Victoria's Swartz Bay ferry terminal! Tried out the 6 cider flight because why not and every cider was amazing! I was surprised at the alcohol content of each because it was soo fruity you couldn't tell it was 12%! Love that you get to overlook the courtyard while you sip on your drinks! Still dreaming of the ginger perry cider....
