Great Chinese food! Will order again.

Not a reflection of the food - Either answer the phone for pick-up please, or if you do not open for lunches (11:00-2:00), please change your google hours. Your FB says you do not do lunch but google hours does. Very confusing.

The only reason why I gave it three stars for food is because there's not enough chicken in both the chicken fried rice and chicken Chow mein, for how much each of those cost there should be more chicken in them! So hopefully management will see this post and put more chicken in and I'll still keep buying from them.

We were sadly disappointed. The hot and sour soup was neither, but it was offputtingly sweet. The fried rice was bland and 98% rice, the pot sticker sauce was also unusually sweet (though the pot stickers were ok), the szechuan seafood dish lacked the taste of typical szechuan seasonings. The General Tso chicken likewise didn't taste like what was expected of that dish. The salt and pepper tofu was deemed fair. We all ascribed it to different local tastes/expectations.

Good taste except quantity of food seems minimum. Single order is insufficient to fill up for 1 person in other words, it was expensive for me

Delicious food, love that this Gem is in out neighborhood

Take-out only, due to staff shortages, but it doesn't diminish the good quality of their food or friendly service.

Parking: There is wheelchair parking, but the entry is tight into restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: Entry-level is tight to pick up food, especially if there's a line-up. Tight corners.

The food quality is really good, and consistently good. We will keep frequenting this place. They are currently only doing takeout.

Wai Heung is our go-to spot for decent, middle of the road, western Chinese food.Never blows my mind, but also never disappoints. For out here on the Saanich Peninsula, I'm not sure what can be found that's better. Is it that "western" Chinese food that we're all familiar with? Yes. But its a pretty good iteration of the type. The family running the place are friendly, polite and don't seem to cut corners or portion sizes on the food. We appreciate that. Not open Mondays. No delivery. No Dine-in. Pickup only. 15 min cook-times. Its a really reliable take-out Chinese place. Worth trying.
