Had our first visit to the cafe since moving to the Shuswap area in 2024. The poutine was perfection and the zombie apocalypse burger outstanding.

Top Jimmy's Canoe Beach Cafe offers excellent burgers and great fries, with a prime lakeside location in Salmon Arm. The Lobster Roll is delicious, and the killer Halifax Donair is amazing. The zombie burger is one of the best double smash burgers, and the Quebec poutine is one of the best ever. The Pink Whitney cocktail is a nice surprise. The ambience is very nice on the deck by a peaceful, beautiful beach, a great location. Service is fast and super friendly. The food is fresh and tasty, though some may wish the prices were lower or the portions a bit bigger. There’s a reason people line up around the fence for this place—it’s not just the food but the care put into their beachside café. Don’t hesitate to visit for lunch or dinner; it’s by far the best food in Salmon Arm.
