Love this bakery and make sure to visit each time I’m on Salt Spring Island. So many delicious goodies and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I especially love the chocolate granola bars and hedgehogs.
Wonderful selection of delectable pastries, bread, and savory items, including some meatless items. Unfortunately, we were advised that virtually none of them are GF or vegan, which is a shame. Apparently, most of the pastry contains lard.
Great old school scratch bakery. Just like my Nana used to make. Reasonable prices. Friendly service. Good coffee. I wish I had a place like this at home but sadly this type of bakery is rapidly disappearing in favour of mass produced flash frozen product a la Tim Hortons. Salt Spring is very lucky!
