Fish and chips was mediocre at best. Doubt the fries were fresh cut. Fish was mostly batter. Greasy. Not cheap. Would never go back.

Great view and location in town. Fish was overcooked and the french fries did not seem homemade. This may have been because we came during autumn in the off season. The restaurant itself was very dirty with flies in the kitchen area. Surfaces were quite sticky which was surprising since it wasnt busy. Disappointed.

Stopped by here for some fish and chips. Food was quite nice, service was quick and friendly. Not a lot of seating, but you can always get take away and head down by the Harbour. Definitely worth a visit.

Ice cream was laughable how small. Couldn’t pay for it.

Swing batter, batter, batter. Wow these fish and chips have too much batter
In addition, this coleslaw is down right icky. Needs carrots, ditch the poppy seeds, dial back the sweetness of the dressing and let’s get back to our roots

Very tasty fresh fish! We tried the halibut, and cod. I think we all preferred the cod but the halibut was an interesting other fish to try! Onion rings were crispy and perfectly cooked! Chips were lovely!

Good food. Service was bad. Lady at the counter had a terrible attitude the entire time we were there.

Absolutely incredible. Stopped on the side of the road for this little shop, and was very impressed. The service was amazing, the view was even more amazing, and the food was top tier! We got the cod and halibut fish and chips, crispy oysters, and a hamburger. Everything was phenomenal! Not super greasy and very fresh! Husband said it was easily one of the best hamburgers he’s ever had, and the fish and chips were to die for. Will be coming back here next time I visit!

Excellent chowder. It has great flavour and a variety of vegetables - not too salty either which was great!

Pretty overpriced for over-battered fish, very conservative potion of chips for $27… wouldn’t be in a rush back.

Only place for ice cream open on a Sunday after 6pm! Soft serve vanilla, chocolate or swirl. Soooooo good! Huge portion and delish

Warning: “gluten free” fish & chips contains gluten, possibly in the fries or fryer oil. After eating it I had a reaction, wrote them to confirm and they didn’t reply. Not gluten aware.

Heavily advertised gluten free options but were unable to cater for celiacs due to using the same fryer for everything. Super guttered as i got my hopes up, don’t think they should advertise gf options if they do not have the facilities to cater for celiacs :(
hope they change this
