I came to Salt Spring Island from Victoria, and this place ended up being one of the best parts of my trip. If you enjoy relaxing with a glass of wine on a sunny day, it’s the perfect spot. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is laid-back, and the wine is delicious. I’m heading back to Victoria with such a great memory and would love to visit again.

Lovely little winery. Beautiful outdoor set up. Located in a perfect location for those who want to walk. Delightful, knowledgeable staff. We enjoyed two tasting flights and a bottle of Rose. We snacked on a beautiful charcuterie board. We enjoyed the Rose so much we purchased another bottle to take home to NL.

A wonderful visit to this charming winery that has lots of outdoor seating under shade trees. Staff were knowledgeable and delightful. It was open on a Monday which was wonderful for us as we were trying to avoid a busy summer weekend on the island. We wished we had headed right there from the ferry and enjoyed a cheese board with our wine flight instead of stopping in busy Gagnes to eat at a restaurant. The wines were delicious. We highly recommend this winery.

We have an excellent experience at Kutatas Wines. We stopped in for a tasting on a Thursday afternoon and were promptly greeted with friendly helpful service, the wines were delicious and the vegetarian board was all local, and delicious. This was a relaxed and beautiful experience all around, would highly recommend.
Absolutely loved visiting Kutatas, it was so charming and the wine was delish! The people working there were absolutely lovely. Add this onto your itinerary when visiting Salt Spring!

This is one of the best things to do on a lazy weekend afternoon on Saltspring. The wines are wonderfully drinkable, and the setting on the deck, looking out on the vines, is beautiful. If you like wine, trust me, do this. (I’m a resident and this is one of my favourite places to take visiting friends).

Lovely experience and tasting room, but there are much better wines out there. I’d recommend visiting only if you’re killing time on the island. Also, the vineyard is right by one of the main roads.
