I can’t remember all the flavors I tried, but I especially liked the crème brûlée and sour! Kind and knowledgeable staff and plenty of seating both indoors and outside.
A small, basic brewery with tastey beer. Local cider also available. We were able to bring our own snacks/lunch.
Not wheelchair accessible.
We had a good experience at this brewery. I personally find their dark beers exceptional. There are some seating area with a bit of shade, but the covered patio can get a bit warm in the middle of the day. The inside seating was air-conditioned however.
Salt Spring Brewery is a fantastic spot that feels like it’s tucked away in the woods—peaceful, cozy, and full of character. The beer here is fresh and flavorful, with a solid variety to choose from, including lagers, IPAs, and sours.
Their new Raspberry Mango beer is a standout—refreshing, fruity, and perfect for a sunny day. The lager is smooth and crisp, and the hazy IPA is also worth a try. But the real surprise for me was the Crème Brûlée Vanilla shot—unlike anything I’ve tasted before, and easily my favorite.
The setting is great, and it’s a wonderful place to relax with a drink. That said, I do wish they offered food options—maybe at least some sandwiches—as currently, the only snacks available are a small selection of potato chips.
Overall, it’s a great experience for beer lovers, but come prepared if you're planning to stay a while!
Awesome pet friendly brewery with delicious beers. 🍺🐕👍👌
Great beer, great location. Would love a few more snack options and the tables were super wobbly. Still definitely recommend to stop and grab a flight
Great place
Good beer, dog friendly
They have a wide variety of craft beers to choose from — whether you’re into something light and refreshing or more bold and hoppy, you’ll find something you like. I went for the flight, which is definitely the best way to experience the range of flavors they offer. Each beer was well-crafted and had its own personality.
The brewery itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe. There are board games available, which adds a fun touch if you’re there with friends or just want to relax and hang out for a while. It’s the kind of place where you can take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and really settle in for a quiet afternoon or a casual meet-up.
Whether you're a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a chill spot to spend a couple of hours, this place delivers. I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m on the island.
What a great place with really good beer! Came for a taster and ended up with 2 pints of hazy IPA. One of the best I’ve had! Super chill and totally dog friendly!!

Loved the ESB in a can. Can't wait to visit in person.
Stopped in on our way cycling from Victoria to Ganges. Loved the beer and woodsy vibe. Definitely worth the trip.
Delicious beers and a great atmosphere!
Such a nice spot, great beer and great staff.
A great place to chill, with a very cool indoor space, a nice patio and breezy spots for outdoor tables. I like the Heather Pale Ale the best. ?
