Here is the deal. I don't hand out 5 stars. But 4.9 was not a choice. T J Beans is not a restaurant. MORE than a coffee shop. Not a snackbar. MORE than sandwich shop. The place is unpretentious and as unique as the island clientele that frequent it.
It’s a small place with only 3 tables, being mostly a coffee shop. At 4 in the afternoon there were not many people in and out but it still took a while for food to arrive. No luck on my sandwich modification request. Ignoring the unwanted mayo, the food was good.
Looking for coffee this quaint caffeine fix is cozy and makes pretty good coffee. The staff was extremely friendly. Looking for a sugar fix to go with my beverage I selected the glistening cinnamon roll. It was still warm, tearing teasingly apart opening up to the brown sticky savory morsel that did not
