This is the *only* place I will buy pizza on Salt Spring Island, because I prefer a THIN crust with good ingredients, whether that's just cheese or with added toppings (pepperoni, vegetables, etc.). Compared with the more well-established pasta/pizza storefront right by the gas station, True Love provides truly delicious pizza. If you like the pizzas in Italy -- VERY THICK CRUST so you're eating mostly cooked bread dough, and rather THIN toppings -- you might prefer...
Great pizza place on the Island! One of the best places to eat and it was among the best pizza places I've ever been to, and pizza is my favorite food. We went there multiple times during our stay at the island.
Pizza was ok at best. It was greasy, and lacked toppings. The hot mama we ordered didn’t have a speck of basil, had very few pineapples and the crust was so thin and greasy we couldn’t even hold on to it without the few toppings it did have without sliding off. For $30 for 12” we won’t be back.
