Daphne's Mediterranean Grill

A friendly staff....and very gracious new owner....always good food, nice ambiance, and comfy seating. Always happy to have a nice meal with friends in this bright eatery

We stumbled upon Daphne’s while on our walk through town. We got seated a minute past happy hour but the owner told us he would over ride his machine if we wanted anything off that menu - this was super generous of him. We ordered the kalamari which was super fresh. Hubby had the lamb donair dinner and I had the falafel for dinner - best flavoured falafel I’ve ever had.

Did a pick up order here a few days ago and (after telling us they double checked everything in our bag) half our meal was missing. We had to drive back into town a second time to pick it up. They gave us an extra dessert but I didn't feel that fully made up for our trouble. Also I ordered a chicken slouvaki, and both my rice and potatoes tasted like nothing. Probably the worst slouvalki I've ever had. My wife had a seafood dish that she really liked.

We were just there for lunch: I had the spanakopita plate and my partner the prawn souvlakia. Both were very good: ample portions, both came with Greek rice and potato, Greek salad, warm pita bread and tzatziki. Nice.

Food was on point delicious, service was hilarious the gentlemen was a good small town soul. Made me feel like returning home to my own small town. Was very welcoming and comforting. Can't go wrong with a fancy drink

Galic prawn is very fresh, hot, and tasty!

The food and drinks here are so good. The new owners have had it for just over a year and the food is better than ever. Don’t miss out going here.

Good tasty food, good value for money Good ambience staff do need better customer skill and best thing is to book your reservation , the chef is consistent for a fairly long time.

We went to Daphe's last night. I was craving there lamb. My partner ordered the moussaka. What a beautiful dinner it turned out to be. The service was attentive and friendly. Jay one of the owners was gracious as always. This is one of our favorite go to eateries here on the coast. Loved it.

We went to have lamb at Daphne’s. The portions are huge! The restaurant is really the nicest place to eat in Sechelt for a special meal. There are other nice places but they are a good drive and drinking and driving is not a plan for this couple. The meal was great the birthday Baklava was wonderful. Lots of parking out back if no spot on the street. We had great service and will return

Daphnes used to be excellent, then they remodelled, which is to say that everything got painted grey and white and for what ever reason, the food quality went down hill.

What a refreshing change from the typical "bar food" that is common around Sechelt. If you want more than a burger, fries, and fried food, this is the place to come to.We ordered the mussels to start and they were very tasty, mainly because of the sauce they were cooked in, be aware that the sauce was a ground beef tomato sauce, which was different, but good.We then ordered a chicken wrap with seasoned fries which was cooked to perfection and reminded us of gyro's in Greece.Lastly, we ordered the grilled octopus since we are a fan of this Mediterranean style of dish and wanted to be taken back to our time in Greece. The octopus was cooked perfectly. The only slight would be that it was not prepared traditionally, and it was a little too saucy in our opinion. A light grazing of sauce or sauce on the side would have been preferred.The service was also fantastic. The staff employed here are genuine friendly people that made us feel like they really wanted us to have a good experience. Kudos to the owner and staff.This place is fantastic and a treat to go to. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was very nice good service from the one waitress only thing that put a damper on it was being told there was 18% gratuity added on up front it kind of spoils the idea of a gratuity

There were seven of us for dinner, all with varied tastes and dietary restrictions. We all found the food delicious and our server, Michelle, went above and beyond to ensure we all were completely satisfied and had everything we needed. The menu is Mediterranian and broad in scope. With seven fussy diners, everyone found something appealing to their tastes and needs. Definitely recommend as a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience in Sechelt. Reservations recommended.
