“Brickers might've been our favourite stop on our little weekend getaway!

Lots of space to sit outside, live music, games. Such a great place for kids and dogs. Inside was a little tight and the line got pretty long to order, but it was a busy Sunday over Family Day weekend so that probably didn’t help.

It would be nice if there were QR codes on the tables to order so you didn’t have to stand in line. Other than that, we had a great experience. Nice food options, and they have beer if cider isn’t your jam. Such a wonderful place to spend the afternoon. and the staff are very friendly, especially the kitchen manager! I didn't grab her name -- but giving her a nice shout out here :) she knows who she is!”

“Went here for Breakfast and the older woman working the front was so pleasant and loved her sweet energy, the food was pretty good, price was a bit higher then I like but that's the time we live in, it gave older diner vibes what I love, not a fan of modern diners so this was something special, great local gem.”

“I've been here twice over the last 3 years last being the summer of 2025. I do not recall what we had but both times the food and staff were outstanding. I wish we lived here so I can go more often, or they were open when I lived there. highly recommend and I brought my 5 year old son, they were great with him. Great place, great food, great people.”

“Gohanya is a hidden gem in the Sunshine Coast! They offer top-quality, affordable to-go sushi and a variety of other delicious Japanese dishes. The place is owned by a Japanese couple, and it definitely shows in the authenticity and care they put into their food.

I had the fried salmon and the spicy tuna poke bowl—both were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s hard to find this kind of quality at such reasonable prices.

They also have a small dine-in area if you want to eat on the spot, and a selection of Japanese groceries, which is a nice bonus.

Highly recommend for anyone craving legit Japanese food in the area!”

“Great find! The pizza was delicious - including the gluten free/dairy free one that my wife got (cauliflower crust and vegan cheese). Their eating area was also a really cozy setup right next to the cidery - from which we got a flight of ciders to go with our pizzas. Neat that they gave us a buzzer to let us know when the pizza was ready so we could look around. Highly recommend!”

“The wife wanted a cappuccino, so we typed coffee into Google Maps, and found directions to a bike shop. How fun! We were greeted by a beautiful counter of artisan bread, pastries, and cured meats, stationed amidst mountain bikes and gear. My wife ordered her coffee and a pastry, and despite a 3 minute staredown with the baguettes, I declined to buy one, or order my own coffee. Mistake.

We sat in the car and realised it was the best cappuccino we'd had in a very long time. Coming from folks who grind and pour their own cortados each morning with artisan beans, this was something. Within 3 minutes I was back in the shop ordering my own cappuccino, and a baguette to go. Outstanding.”

“I had such a fantastic experience with The Bakery! I ordered two birthday cakes — a raspberry cheesecake and a raspberry chocolate cake — for my brother and my daughter, and both were absolutely incredible. Not only did the cakes look beautiful, but they tasted even better. You can really tell they use quality ingredients — everything was fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced. Both cakes were a huge hit with everyone! The customer service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, helpful, and even went the extra mile to help me carry the cakes out to my car, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. On top of all that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommend for any special occasion — I’ll definitely be back!”

“Other guests mostly had good food but DON’T order lettuce wrap as you get ½ an iceberg lettuce cut so there are no big pieces and tou’re supposed to make yor own wrap. It’s not possible so you try to pick up peanuts and crispy noodles with your fork.”

But the soup was not hot enough and did not cook the meat all the way. The water used for the tea was also not hot. They use fresh and quality ingredients though. I would definitely come back.”
