“Great location for outdoor dining. We went looking for a place to dine with our dogs while on vacation. Cider was good. NA beer was good. Flatbreads were different but felt gourmet. We had the chicken brie flatbread, peach and prosciutto, and harvest flatbread. Each one great and plenty to eat.”

“Lots of variety and first restaurant that had grapefruit, egg and toast. Coffee very good and only $2.50. Very reasonable, good service and even had veal cutlets, hot turkey/beef sandwiches on menu. My friend had the turkey and lots of dark meat. However, only open til 3 pm. A local hangout”

“I've been here twice over the last 3 years last being the summer of 2025. I do not recall what we had but both times the food and staff were outstanding. “Gohanya is a hidden gem in the Sunshine Coast! They offer top-quality, affordable to-go sushi and a variety of other delicious Japanese dishes. The place is owned by a Japanese couple, and it definitely shows in the authenticity and care they put into their food.

I had the fried salmon and the spicy tuna poke bowl—both were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s hard to find this kind of quality at such reasonable prices.

They also have a small dine-in area if you want to eat on the spot, and a selection of Japanese groceries, which is a nice bonus.

“Great find! The pizza was delicious - including the gluten free/dairy free one that my wife got (cauliflower crust and vegan cheese). Their eating area was also a really cozy setup right next to the cidery - from which we got a flight of ciders to go with our pizzas. Neat that they gave us a buzzer to let us know when the pizza was ready so we could look around. Highly recommend!”

I ordered two birthday cakes — a raspberry cheesecake and a raspberry chocolate cake — for my brother and my daughter, and both were absolutely incredible. Not only did the cakes look beautiful, but they tasted even better. You can really tell they use quality ingredients — everything was fresh, rich, and perfectly balanced. Both cakes were a huge hit with everyone! The customer service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, helpful, and even went the extra mile to help me carry the cakes out to my car, which I really appreciated. It made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. “Had a takeout combo, the chow mein was a little bland but that's better than greasy or overly salty in my book, the chop suey and chicken balls sauces made the mien quite acceptable. When picking up I saw the sunday buffet in action and it looked clean and decently stocked and well maintained.”

“Other guests mostly had good food but DON’T order lettuce wrap as you get ½ an iceberg lettuce cut so there are no big pieces and tou’re supposed to make yor own wrap. It’s not possible so you try to pick up peanuts and crispy noodles with your fork.”

“I wanted to give this place 5 star so bad because the flavours are on point, service is great and prices are extremely reasonable. But the soup was not hot enough and did not cook the meat all the way. The water used for the tea was also not hot. They use fresh and quality ingredients though. I would definitely come back.”
