Sima Sushi Reviews
The sashimi was delicious, however it was the smallest portion I have ever received for 25$ considering it’s “wild”. The servers were kind. Great quality sushi, expect to pay more than usual
Reliable standby in Sechelt and Gibsons for high-quality, fresh and tasty sushi and Japanese food. They also do Bibimbap rice bowls. Friendly staff, casual vibe, lots of fancy, non-traditional rolls as well as all the classics.
Rave review on this place. Excellent service, some of the best sushi I’ve had. The wakime salad is excellent and I can’t resist walking past. My only less than positive feedback is that it’s a small serving for price; regardless I always get it and I give 5 stars overall. Thank you for your work! I know sushi is a tricky business requiring tons of effort to produce what I couldn’t. Thank you so very much to all staff, hands down my favourite place to eat in Sechelt 👍❤️

Sima Sushi in Sechelt is a comfortable spot known for its really good menu and friendly, prompt service. The sushi is really good, with many highlighting it as the best on the coast. The restaurant is known for its rolls, with specific recommendations including the Sunshine Roll with its unique house sauce, the Monster Roll, Popcorn Roll, Hells gate Roll, Sima special, and winter roll. Other praised dishes include fish tempura, Agedashi Tofu, Gomae, Wakame, Spicy Tuna Salad, Salmon Sashimi, and Miso Ramen. While most find the atmosphere fantastic and the food amazing, exceeding expectations, a minority feel the food is nothing out of the ordinary, comparing its quality to supermarket sushi, and find the space a little claustrophobic. It is considered a must-visit and a really nice spot where you could take your kids.
