Never been here, but got a call from them claiming to be a representative from Telus

Gohanya is a hidden gem in the Sunshine Coast! They offer top-quality, affordable to-go sushi and a variety of other delicious Japanese dishes. The place is owned by a Japanese couple, and it definitely shows in the authenticity and care they put into their food.

I had the fried salmon and the spicy tuna poke bowl—both were fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. It’s hard to find this kind of quality at such reasonable prices.

They also have a small dine-in area if you want to eat on the spot, and a selection of Japanese groceries, which is a nice bonus.

Highly recommend for anyone craving legit Japanese food in the area!

Good take out Japanese spot. Has some limited indoor seating (3 barstools on a counter facing the window and a small table with two chairs). Quick service, friendly folks that seem like a family-run shop, and the ingredients are fresh. A mixture of pre-made and made to order items.

Need a quick grab ‘n go sushi while on the way through the coast? Custom rolls by request.. killer udon & teriyaki bowls as well. I work in the WC plaza and this is often my go-to spot for a fresh tasty lunch. Friendly people, glad to have them on the coast! Thanks Gohanya ?

Love the Miso soup

Minimal menu offerings. But good quality over quantity. Busy with takeout. Enough time to do my walk in quickly. Good amount of wasabi. Delicious sushi. Simple yet effective. Excellent pricing.

Quick, quality take out. The choice is simple, but everything was delicious.

We got some perfect fresh and delicious sushi here for a great price! Love it. Picked up some tempura flour too, which I was happy to find! Nice little shop.

Absolute gem on the coast. It's not a huge menu but everything is delicious and fresh. The poke bowl is to die for. Also a great spot to grab some Japanese grocery items - curry, sweets, sauces, frozen fresh ramen noodles. The owners are delightful. Highly recommend.
