It seems like they've blocked new reviews so I'm editing a 5 star review I did 2 years ago. I ordered the Thanksgiving Day dinner for takeout. They served people who arrived after me and I didn't get my dinner for 45 minutes after arriving and 30 minutes after the reserved time. People were coming in and picking up theirs while I sat waiting. I only live a few blocks from Joes so the drive home took about 5 minutes. Everything was cold. It was like they left it sitting on a shelf for half an hour. I called over and after fighting with their ridiculous phone system was able to leave a voicemail. They didn't bother responding. The hostess was very nice but now I know why there were only about 3 tables of dine in guests. I will never return

Their plant-based bowl is too small of a portion and overpriced given that the ingredients are mainly tofu, potatoes, and half an avocado.
Edit: I went again months later and they seem to have improved their plant-based options. Their beyond burger is awesome. I added some stars to my review.

I left a positive review for these guys 2 years ago. Last Christmas I ordered turkey dinner take out from Gourmet Girl and it was perfect. Both food and service. This Thanksgiving they were already sold out but I noticed Joes was offering it. I tried ordering online but it was hopeless. Next I used the Contact Us to request the turkey dinner. When I didn't get an answer I drove over and booked it for Sunday (yesterday, Oct 13, 2024). I had arranged for pickup at 530 and as usual, I arrived 15 minutes early. I told them I would just have a drink at the bar while I waited. Another gentleman arrived a few minutes later and was happily on his way in minutes. Then a woman arrived and she too received her meal quickly. The vibe at the bar was decent and so was my cocktail .The hostess kept telling me only a few minutes more. I finally received mine at 5:58 and left a 20 percent tip. I live only a few blocks away and the drive is about 5 minutes. I eagerly dishes it up and the first bites were cold. My dinner plate barely fits in my small microwave but I nuked it for 2 minutes. It was still cold on top but the potatoes underneath were hot-ish. I left most of it on the plate. Later I was so upset I called over (have you tried their joke of a telephone system? Through numerous number selections I was able to request speaking to a staff member and then was sent to voicemail. I left a polite message with my name and number explaining my disappointment. They didn't bother to call to apologize or anything. I actually wonder if anyone there actually listens to their voicemails or reads their emails. I will starve before I ever set foot in this place again. 2 big thumbs down.

On way to the ferry from Rockwater resort we stopped in after hiking Smuggler’s Cove What a gem !! Greatest server. Ellen ! We had the mussels which were best I’ve had in very long time ! Then shared chicken strips The view is wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Went for both dinner and brunch. Great drinks, delicious lamb chops and hot honey chicken burger. Brunch was delicious and they accommodated our dog and had us on the patio. Great spot.

Ate there for the first time and had such a great experience.
Although the patio is not dog friendly, we were able to sit our dog very close to us still and they brought him water right when we sat down.
Service and food were amazing. My partner and I got the Hey, Hey Vegan/Agedashi Bowl & Hot Honey Chicken Burger. Our server, Lilly had mentioned they were her two favourite items and we were super impressed by them. Definitely will be back!

Patio was also very nice & shaded with umbrellas.
Wheelchair accessibility: Great accessibility to the patio and good size for washrooms.
Beautiful location, our server was the best. The food was fabulous. My friend can’t eat gluten and the menu was so accommodating. Everything was delicious. We went back again the next day!
