It’s fourth time I got the wrong order. Today when I went back and confront the Manager she was very unapologetic. Instead, she said, even after ordering online, I have to confirm my order when I go to the counter or drive-through.

We visit this location whenever visiting Sechelt and the coffee is always lukewarm. It is one of the worst coffee we’ve ever had. Other food is okay. Location is convenient and the service is average.

McDonald’s in Sechelt is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a Filet-O-Fish. The staff are always nice and welcoming, which makes every visit pleasant. The only downside is that sometimes groups of teens hang around and can be quite disruptive, lacking manners and trying to be funny in ways that aren’t. It can take away from the experience, but that’s more about the crowd than the restaurant itself. If it gets too much, it’s best to call the police so everyone can enjoy their meal in peace.

McDonald’s has always been a place where you could get decent fast food at a decent price. Orders were usually quick and accurate. Food always been the same.
I’ve noticed the whole franchise has really slipped but this location in particular has fallen off a cliff. Orders are always wrong. Food is slow. Service is awful. Prices are insane.
The last time I went they sent me to the parking area and then totally forgot about me. 15 minutes later I went in and asked what was up and they were unapologetic. Found my forgotten food order and gave it to me.
I just placed a big order with them, a bunch of sandwiches with combo, and a poutine, and all their fries taste extremely bitter. I wonder what the reason can be! Disgusting!

If you want to experience the worst McDonalds can be this is the place for you! I’ve had my mobile order missing items after getting home many times, it’s filthy dirty inside especially in the visible kitchen area and the staff are the most unmotivated and ambivalent humans I’ve ever encountered. After the third time getting my order wrong I went in and challenged the missing items and was offered 4 free nuggets for the 30minute inconvenience which they then also forgot. Astoundingly terrible service. Wish there was a less than one star option.

This McDonald’s is an absolute mess, if only I can give zero rating, and the blame falls squarely on the owner, who clearly doesn’t care at all. It’s always understaffed, and it’s painfully obvious that whoever’s running this place is more interested in squeezing out profits than actually running a decent restaurant.
The employees? They’re the only reason this location hasn’t completely collapsed. I genuinely feel sorry for them, they’re doing everything they can under pressure, and it shows. But no matter how hard they work, they’re set up to fail by poor management and an owner who refuses to staff the place properly.
If you’re the owner reading this: DO BETTER. Your team deserves support. Your customers deserve basic service. This is just pure negligence.

Don't bother walking into the restaurant to order, you will be ignored for the drive-thru. Inside the dining area always has food/garbage lying on the ground, sticky floors and rude/dismissive staff. You will be standing around waiting for your order for 10+ minutes. 0/5 stars.
