Disappointing. Almost empty on a Friday night. Food was just okay, and one person had a reaction to msg later that night. Do not recommend. Great location! Miss the original Pebbles.

This is no longer Pebbles, it is now the Beachside Kitchen-Bar. My wife and I thought we would try it out for lunch. We knew it was a little expensive but hoped the meal would be worth it as they advertise as authentic Chinese food. We ordered 2 different combination meals at around $24 each. When our meals arrived there was a lot of food but it turned out to be very disappointing. The flavour of the food was mediocre to say the least and the best description that I can think of is boring. At the prices the meals cost it should have been much more impressive. The sweet and sour sauce and the lemon sauce didn't taste like it was "home" made. MSG is added to some of the food but the waitress couldn't tell us which food because the cooks don't speak English so she couldn't ask. We definitely wouldn't go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are better and less expensive offerings in town. Compliments to the waitress though who was friendly and efficient.

Got a Reservation for Thurs day evening my wife's birthday got there the waiters were talking to each other stood there for few minutes final had wave at them 5 feet away one of the girls grabbed two menus and rudely said go and sit were you want sat down the only thing on the menu was Chinese food nothing but can not even order a salad the prices were expensive so we just got up left management needs to variety back in menu I understand that there are new owners they advertise on the the best Chinese food on the coast I know others that have gone there and said the food was expensive and very good I rate experience 00000 I recommend not to going there

I don't usually right negative review. I just ignore it and move on, but this can not be excussed.

1st When the menu says $17 on your menu I expect to pay $17 not $19. I mentioning it to our server and she said those are old menus and she did not return the money or apologize. All the menus said $17.

2nd When I am spending $19 on 1 peice halibut and chips I would expect fresh halibut

The good thing. The view was great.

These owners need to visit local competition to see where they are going wrong. Meals are poor value for money, terrible fries not home made, taste claggy in the mouth, very small portions , unless you are having specials food quality is very low Other restaurants are serving better quality ingredients and value for our hard earned dollars for food. This place needs a rethink of how to keep their local business, we certainly won’t be eating here often anymore

Delicious food, great service, beautiful view. The music was the only negative. Classic hard rock didn't fit with the ambience of this lovely reastaurant.

The cream of potato soup was sour. The poor waitress was on her own so she never got back to our table to replace it. My partner finished his meal and I never had anything to eat. Not recommended.

Beige! I enjoyed my trip to the local old folks home, or at least that's what it felt like. The decor was beige..... The starter was beige..... No really, it was beige! And tasted of warm beige!!!! Seafood chowder, white sauce, with the flavour removed and some stuff put into it. Main was a wrap, with a beige coloured filling!! And even it tasted like beige!!! Supposed to be chicken, though I don't think they know what chicken tastes like! The power was out in the village, but then so was the flavour!! Honestly, coast flavour at its best! The views were good, the staff weren't! But hey.... You may like beige??
