Friendliest person I have ever met in a seafood store. Might seem high-priced but the fish is so fresh-looking, displayed and cut attractively, and tasted great. The lingcod was fabulous! Get some seafood!

Best place for fish and seafood. Love that they carry a selection of sauces and condiments ~ pastas and oils etc. Many times I didn’t have to bother going to the grocery store, I could make dinner with the ingredients carried at the Fish Market ~ right down to a garlic bulb. Had their homemade soup the other day … outstanding. Then there’s Dean, who is the epitome of small-town service, knowledge and friendliness.

We recently bought a house in Sechelt as a getaway "rest house" so we would only be there when work and schedules allow. Downtown Sechelt has a few stores apart from Independent Superstore and Claytons but for special seafood like crabs and clams - we tried Sechelt Fish Market. Dean, the owner is a pro at this. We mostly buy crabs - 3 at a time and he goes above and beyond by cleaning the crabs which makes for easy cooking. His clams are also the freshest and the price? Reasonable is an understatement given his going above and beyond service. BEST seafood place in the Sunshine Coast.

I picked up frozen clams and a can of minced clam in its own beer (juice) and made the best seafood chowder ever! Great customer service, always so friendly and courteous. My seafood go-to!
