I stopped by during a trip and it was honestly so delicious! Even though we came as a group, all of our orders came out really quickly and the staff were super friendly. The place is known for their rolls, but honestly everything we had exceeded our expectations.
For appetizers, we had the Agedashi Tofu, Gomae, and Wakame. I highly recommend all three!
For mains, we tried the Spicy Tuna Salad, Sunshine Roll, Monster Roll, Popcorn Roll, Salmon Sashimi, Miso Ramen, and the Hells gate Roll, and everything was amazing.
Especially the Sunshine Roll, it came with a special house sauce that I’ve never tasted anywhere else. It was truly unique and packed with flavor.
If you’re ever in Sechelt, this place is a must-visit!

Wonderful and prompt service, we ordered take out and we loved the food. Sima special and winter roll were definitely the highlight of the order, the chef even included a few extra veggie tempuras for us, very thoughtful.

Economical. Great food n sevice
Got take out,
The sashimi salad was extremely disappointing - 20$ salad with the smallest pieces of fish where the fish looked old and cut poorly. Not fresh.
Sunomono salad also had the smallest crumbs of octopus but cost an extra 2$ for the fish..
sushi rolls were small and tasted fishy.
The tobico scallop roll had pretty much no tobico and smallest scallop

They were going to charge me for my avocado allergy I asked to have it removed from my bento box roll And they were going to charge me 3.00$ for the “accommodation of the avocado Removal” The lady refused to let me speak to her manager and said that it would be a waste for them to make that accommodation

Our first visit to Sima Sushi in Sechelt left us thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the sushi was the best we've ever had on the coast. We highly recommend it.

It's ok if you are craving sushi, but the food is nothing out of the ordinary. The quality is like supermarket sushi. The waitresses are new and slow. The place looks a little Claustrophobic.

Dine in after Saturday Artisan Market, restaurant is clean my Grandma ordered Sushi Rolls and chicken teriyaki in bento they are so good. Our tempura in Bento Box are not so crispy and heavy on flour the yam has still fresh flour inside the breading. The service is fast.
Sushi was okay. Not wrapped well. Fresh ingredients. A bit overpriced. Service was awful though.
