The salmon was dry. My husband’s steak was medium, not medium rare as ordered. He asked for English mustard but was arrogantly told “the chef is of high renown, there will not be any mustard”. If he’s that good he should be able to cook fish and steak. The ganache was chewy to say the least. All in all a very disappointing evening.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary with dinner at the Blue Heron.Hands down the best dinning experience we have had on the S. Coast in a while. The staff was personable, lovely and professional.The food was exquisite, well presented, fresh and cooked perfectly. The flavors were exciting and unique but not over done.The owner and staff made our evening memorable, we cant wait for our next visit!Great Job!

Absolutely wonderful. Went for dinner with four friends and could not have received more friendly service or better seafood.Our server, Gail, and Jack were all super sweet and knowledgeable. Would go back just for them.Also everyone should get the mushroom bisque.

We visited in June, August and last night. This place never disappoints. Phenomenal steak and lobster in early August for our anniversary, and last night superbly cooked and presented sirloin steaks with generous mushrooms. The prosciutto wrapped prawns over pineapple was a great appetizer share. The patio offered a breathtaking sunset over Porpoise Bay. Our server Tonya? was refreshingly funny and humorous.

We had a wonderful meal here and were pleased with the service as well as the food. Everything on the menu looked nice but we went with the filet mignon with lobster tail and the halibut. Delicious, perfectly cooked and the side of vegetables were excellent. We recommend this for someone who wants to have a special dinner that's a cut above the usual. We loved the mushroom soup too! Amazing
