The food was "ok", just ok. Service was really slow, it seemed like the place was horribly understaffed - I saw just one person working in the restaurant/store, which seems ridiculous. The server was nice but it took forever to order, and forever to get food with the appetizer coming at the same time as the meal... I don't blame the server, I do blame management for how they staffed the place.
Don’t get me wrong I love this place and the food but today’s experience was unfortunately for me, surprisingly disappointing.
I was generously gifted a gift certificate for Xmas and have been waiting to finally get the chance to use it, today was that day. Well I went in so excited to purchase some frozen goods from the Galiano market (which I thought was an extension of the restaurant) to bring home so I didn’t have to cook tonight. I’m not a big fan of dining out...
Oh yeah.Friendly staff, friendly chef, good food, charming spot. Get the chicken parm if the waitress tells you to get the chicken parm. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and missed a ferry just to relax and enjoy more of Sechelt.
