Fantastic drinks, very well made, food was also really tasty. Big bonus they have a gluten free fryer for anyone celiac or gluten free and actual tasty gluten free buns which is not easy to find! Great view of the ocean !

Over three, but not four. Decent enough food, just kind of generic and forgettable. People were very nice, not exactly brisk. Decent music on the PA.

Neat spot on the water in Davis Bay that’s ideal for sunsets. Nice outdoor deck but right next to the highway. Great service. The food was only OK. Disappointed by portion sizes.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to relax with a cold beer and some good food while soaking in the beauty of the Sunshine Coast, The Wobbly Canoe is the place to be. The restaurant sits right on the water, and the views are simply unbeatable — especially at sunset. Watching the sun dip below the horizon with a pint in hand is an experience that keeps you lingering a little longer than planned.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming, making it ideal for both a casual bite and a place to unwind after a long day. The menu has a great mix of options, and everything pairs perfectly with the refreshing ocean breeze.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Wobbly Canoe is one of those must-visit spots where the combination of food, drinks, and scenery makes for an unforgettable evening.

Absolutely amazing restaurant!! We enjoyed the delicious calamari as an appetizer. Then we ate the poke bowl that was outstanding!! It’s a must have! We also got the beef dip sandwich and was to die for! I would highly recommend dining here while you visit the Sunshine Coast. The servers are incredible! super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Overall phenomenal food, service and atmosphere.

Food was so so but pretty pricey. We ordered poke bowl. The rice tastes like overnight rice. Anyway won’t go back…

Fab service from Tegan & lovely sunset view. Food was tasty but the battered fish was way over cooked which was a shame.

Not dog friendly, unless you want to have your dog tied outside the patio next to a very busy highway and fully away from you. We decided to do takeout instead of subjecting our dog to that. When we originally checked it was stated it was a pet friendly atmosphere, and we are traveling with our dog this time. If it was just that it would have been fine but portions were small, prices high and they missed one of our barely filled fries container with one of our orders. They do have GF options which is good but Food was just ok, nothing to wow you. Overall I would not go back even without the dog.

View amazing, atmosphere amazing, BUT food was not good. Definitely do not order the Poke (very little tuna and cold rice), nor Beef dip (dipping broth had no flavor, tasted like water, meat and mushroom needed salt and had bland flavor)...and last time I came here, the wings were raw.

We recently visited The Wobbly Canoe restaurant, and from the moment we walked in, it felt like a special experience. The location alone is worth mentioning — perched perfectly to showcase a stunning view, it creates the kind of backdrop you’d expect in a postcard. Whether you’re sitting indoors by the large windows or outside on the patio, the scenery adds a relaxing, elevated touch to the entire meal.

The food was just as memorable as the view. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, showing real care and attention in the kitchen. We tried a variety of plates, from fresh appetizers to hearty mains, and every bite impressed. The ingredients tasted fresh and thoughtfully paired, with seasonings and textures that balanced each other perfectly. Even the smaller details — from the bread service to the side dishes — showed the kitchen’s dedication to quality.

Service was attentive without being intrusive. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, happy to recommend pairings, and checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without interrupting our evening. The pacing of the meal was spot-on, allowing us to enjoy each course at a comfortable rhythm while still having time to soak in the view.

What stood out most was how the atmosphere, food, and service worked together to create an overall sense of enjoyment. It wasn’t just about eating a good meal — it felt like an experience worth savoring. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want a place to unwind with excellent food and a beautiful view, this restaurant delivers. We left feeling relaxed, satisfied, and already planning our next visit.

Highly recommended for anyone who believes great food tastes even better when served with a view like this.

Great tasting food, but so expensive. $22 for 7 prawns. Very tasty, but I felt the value was not there, as stated in other reviews.
