I just had the BEST meatloaf sandwich from here. Been on the coast since 2017 and this was my first visit. Won’t be my last. Also reasonably priced.
I see a lot of people complaining about the service. I didn’t have any issue with it at all.
Communication was transactional and information focused, but I appreciate not being forced into fake, overly cheery small talk like so many places on the coast.
I wouldn’t call it rude, though I could see certain people feeling that way, especially if they feel they deserve to have their butts kissed just for walking through the door.
It was the human equivalent of a self-checkout, and the introvert in me loved it.

I wish there was an option for no stars .she doesn’t deserve them I went in for the first time and she was being so rude to the customers that were before me all I could say is wow your crazy and then I walked out I will never give this place my time or money
Owner extremely rude and unwelcoming. Wouldn’t let us use the bathroom before we were seated even though we were going to be having lunch shortly. Won’t be back! Good riddance.

Absolutely awful experience. The owner and main chef is incredibly rude and far from courteous. You would think she’s trying to drive away her customers. I will never step foot into the place again and I suggest you look for other small local businesses to support before this one. Stay away.

The wonton soup was delicious and the flavours were amazing. The chicken Pad Thai was outstanding! Great place to have authentic food.

Would love to support a small local business. They had an empty dining room, took one look at me and said “takeout only”. Just looking for a place to pay for some food and sit down to eat it.

Tried ordering 4 sandwiches over the phone on the way to the ferry. The woman on the phone was so flustered by the thought of making 4 sandwiches in 25 minutes, she hung up on me. And then when I called back, she started freaking out about needing more time. I accepted her proposed time, but she called me back immediately after saying that she just couldn't handle the pressure. Don't go here if you want to get a sandwich unless you have over an hour to spare. I thought it was fairly rude to abruptly hang up on me as well.
Absolutely terrible. We stopped by for lunch and the woman was pretty rude. We understood that she was the only one working but was greeted with “its a long wait” after we said no rush.Food was BLAND BLAND BLAND. We had the fried rice which had peas and carrots from one of those freezer bags (tasted like the freezer) and wonton soup - wontons were lovely, soup was severely lacking. Ambiance 0/10 - really would not recommend this place to anyone unless you’re just stopping by to buy bread.

Food is ok, perhaps a bit over priced compared to similar establishments but acceptable. However, don't count on much of a service.

This was a nice surprise. Amazing homemade spring rolls and wontons, delicious soups and scones. We did takeout and went back the next day for lunch. Everything was light and fresh.
Came in with my kids and they were terribly rude. Said they couldn't make anything on their menu. Bizarre.

I had a terrible experience here. I called my husband to meet me here for a bowl of soup. I got there first and asked the woman there for a cup of coffee as it was rainy and miserable. She asked for $3.40. I gave her my credit card and she said no purchases with credit card under $5. I told her that my husband would be meeting me soon and that we would be ordering lunch and that he had money. Her response was a very curt "So wait then." Needless to say, I didn't wait.Anybody who distrusts people that much probably shouldn't be in a service industry. I won't be back and I will tell people this story.
