Hosuka Japanese restaurant

Last night we got takeout from here. The spicy tuna roll was *very spicy.* I've eaten spicy tuna rolls from 10+ places on the island and never had it been this extreme of a heat level. When I called the restaurant to complain, the lady said they were "trying a new sriracha" and to "order it without sauce next time."
Completely blown away by that response and will not be ordering from here again.

This place is lovely to come into and the owners are very nice, but unfortunately the sushi is very bad. The rolls don’t match the description at all (I ordered half a rainbow roll and got something else) and are covered in spring roll sauce, some fish is still frozen. The sauces are awful. The most disappointing sushi I’ve had in a long time. Also, the place is so cold that it was hard to feel warm during our meal.

So cute and friendly! We will definitely be ordering here more often. We had really fresh sushi, and I'd recommend trying the BC roll as a cone, that was my favorite part!

The food is great but every time I order a delivery it takes 2.5 hours to get here when is just a 5 min drive. Also when I called them the person got such a bad attitude with the customer.

Delicious! We had California roll, chopped scallop roll, and Bento box A & C. The food was fresh and flavorful. Owners were friendly, the restaurant was decorated with a variety of Japanese decor, and it was clean and welcoming. We will be back!

Have gone there many times, good food blah blah so I drive out of my way, the last several times I show up at 4:45-5;15 pm for dinner and have been told no sushi rice, I've even tried calling 3 times, to check, hey got any rice? but no answer, so drove all the way there and again no rice for sushi, wth??? Luckily the Tai place is just next door to pizza place...so yummy excellent food 5 Stars to them.

Bad service, tried calling for delivery, very rude person kept hanging up the phone when I tried to order and after calling again he said he didn’t want to do my order, very bad phone service.

Ordered the Party Tray A for take out. Very deceiving photo. What is shown is not whats listed and included. The most expensive and worst food I have ever had for $90. I do not recommend this place at all.

Tried Hosuka for the first time and got some sushi and the beef yakisoba…. It was the best yakisoba I’ve ever tasted and will be returning for more! Soo good and ordering it again tonight!
