We are so lucky to have such a nice gem local to shawnigan. We come here often. Whether you are doing a romantic date night or going for a drink after work, this is the place to be. The food and drink menus are always changing to suit local and seasonal ingredients. The cocktails are next level. We usually spend a bit of money coming here for a full meal and a few rounds of drinks but it is absolutely worth it. The servers and bar team are always so friendly and welcoming too. We've never been disappointed coming here

Awesome spot. First, the brisket sandwich was delicious. Second, the atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful, with great views of the lake. Great beer selection! The booths are so cute and there are multiple patios. The staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating, and let me sit at their dock for an hour before dining. 10/10 experience, thank you guys.

Great view but we went for my mom’s Birthday and our server bald male was very rude. It was my mom’s birthday and I told him it was . Nothing special was done he only wished her happy birthday. We expected something due to the high prices but nothing was done. The tuna tataki she ordered was not how it was described. It was all salad with two pieces of tuna. When she told him to take it back and she reordered, he told her the chef would only make something new if someone else ordered it too. So now all of us have eaten and my mom was still waiting. There was no compensation for the experience and nothing special for her bday. My mom (bday girl ) ended up eating alone at the very end when they finally remade something for her.

The beautiful Kris was our server today and absolutely crushed it ! Very friendly and welcoming, and super knowledgeable about the surrounding area which was a huge plus for us visiting for the first time.

Would 100% recommend this restaurant to anyone (especially the mac and cheese with pork belly) and if you’re lucky you’ll have the chance to meet Kris for yourself !

Always a lovely location. I’ve previously enjoyed the excellent short rib, but my most recent experience (as well as the one about a month ago) was poor food, for the money, (I had a short rib sandwich, I think it’s called) and so-so service. The sandwich bin was hard and dry while the meat was minimal at best. Hoping for a return to form next time. $80 for two beers and two sandwiches … I expected better.
