Stunning location!! Great food and drinks.

our waitress was kind of abrupt with us in the beginning. my boyfriend ordered a bacon cheddar burger and then said “that’s the last burger.” what do you mean that’s the last burger? are you going through a food shortage? she could’ve mentioned when we sat down what was available. and online, their menu online lists two sandwiches that aren’t even on their physical menu. when another person i was with was ordering, our waitress was persuading him into getting something different that he didn’t want while he was trying to motion to take my order because he wasn’t ready since we all had to suddenly choose something else. the view is beautiful, the inside is cozy, and the food is good! but don’t operate a restaurant if you’re running out of food mid shift.

It was a company lunch. The place was nice and the view was beautiful. The staff were friendly. I liked it a lot.

Great place. Big patio right on the water. You can take a kayak, canoe or SUP right to their dock instead of driving. Really good cocktails and food. Their in house pasta is delicious. Wonderful staff all around. No notes! We go here every single time we're in the area.

We were on a trip from Victoria to Cowichan Lake, and some friends recommended The Lakehouse at Shawnigan for breakfast—and we’re so glad they did! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the service was excellent. Our server Rachel was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. It was absolutely worth the detour and the longer drive to stop here. Highly recommend!

Had a fantastic first (and definitely not last) Christmas brunch with my cousins today. Exciting menu, food was scrumptious service was spectacular. Already planning my next visit.Highly recommend!

My husband and I had the most amazing dinner date the Lakehouse at Shawnigan last night. The restaurant is has a very charming atmosphere that made our night that much better- particularly loved the music. My husband had the short rib, which was absolutely delicious. I had the Jambalaya and would absolutely do it again! The service was wonderful and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Amazing brunch/lunch spot. I take my son almost weekly. Their chicken sandwich is big, meaty, and super tasty. Great kids menu as well with actual good food and not just cheap children's meals. The view is great and the service is phenomenal as well.

This was regarding a visit on October 20.We use to love coming as food has always been great. This time it was so disappointing that we will never go again and we use to come every 2 months from Victoria. We made reservation due to being promised that the October Fest Snitzel will be on the menu as we were there 3 weeks previously for Breakfast. We drove all the way from Victoria for 5pm dinner to find out it was removed on the 13th. As a customer I should have been told that and I would have come week prior. Soooooooo disappointed, we bring lots of people to this restaurant and no longer will and will find another place.
