Don't even know where to start. The atmosphere is nice, interior is interesting.
Coffee is bad. Sweets are so impossibly sweet that I got nauseous after two bites. It would be easier to eat a bowl of sugar, really. This is so unhealthy and not tasty! And I got a gluten-free version, which is kinda supposed to be for people who take care of their health, right?
Our whole family took 4 different kinds of deserts, and even the kid who has a sweet tooth didn't like theirs. Same with coffee. Four different types and none of it was good. I regret stopping by - that's the level of disappointment

Hair in the middle of my sandwich. I emailed about it and didn't even get a response. Won't be back.

Man, after hearing about Shirley Delicious for the past 10 years I really wanted to love it. Maybe I just didn’t order the right food. I just got some ready-made pastry items that were on par with a nice grocery store like one of the Market stores. I found the muffin trays on the counter beside the POS to be unappealing due to the fact that they aren’t covered nor individually wrapped. Every person walking by them are breathing on them, talking over them, it’s nasty. Three females were on the floor, all with long hair not pulled back. The barista was shoving food into her mouth as she made people’s drinks. I don’t think any of the above are violations of mandatory requirements, but they certainly aren’t best practices when you’ve worked for well-branded chains that do have better standards.

Really delicious fresh sandwich & corn fritters. Only suggestion I would have for this business is trying to incorporate a second ordering station to minimize wait times in line in the cold/ rain. But super cute spot!

Shirley delicious usually has really great customer service and coffee. Went in today, and had a really disappointing experience.

We got an Americano which was quite weak and watered down. Politely returned and requested that we get a regular drip coffee instead. The barista, wearing a red t-shirt and black thick framed glasses glared at my husband, didn’t say anything, grabbed his Americano and handed him a drip coffee with the same glare and cold attitude. No apology, words, eye contact or even basic human interaction what so ever. Very dismissive and unapologetic. Is this how you would want to be treated as a customer? The MOD was very kind to apologize on this baristas’ behalf.

We’ve been supporting this business for years. Please, if you’re having a bad day, leave that at the door and treat your customers like a basic human being.

I ate here with 3 friends today and they were HOPPING! Super pleasant service and the food runner was so sweet! Delicious food, well worth the wait because it was so busy❤️👌

Great food but not worth the wait. Went in when there was no line and still waited almost half an hour for a breakfast sandwich

Nice spot. Good food. Heads up, there shelves of items for sale leading up to the food counter. These purchases are added to your food bill (which is fine) however, the payment process suggests tip percents on the TOTAL bill - thus you end up tipping on non-food items. After tip, I paid a stupid amount for two stickers. I'm not sure how it can be done but it would be courteous to let customers know the food portion of the bill so they can 'custom' tip and avoid tipping on non food items. This experience gave me a negative feeling. While likely unintentional, it had a dishonest feel.

My daughter and I visited Shirley Delicious on the recommendation of my dogs’ vet and we were very glad we did! Although it was very busy, the staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly and the food - Burrito, Brecki, scones and coffees were all outstanding! It is well worth making the 50+ kilometre trip from Victoria.

B.L.T? More like B.F.S.E (Best Fu*king Sandwich Ever) arriving at Shirly there was a large line so expected it to be amazing. After cruising through the line faster than I thought, the food arrived within minutes of sitting down. Looking at the sandwich I front of me I was completely un aware that my life was about to change. As I took my first bite I knew no other B.L.T would ever come close to this other worldly taste explosion. I devoured the sandwich within seconds, it was over before I knew it. I didn’t get to meet Shirley but I’d like to take this opportunity to ask her to be my wife. ❤️
