We went late in the season. First of all.. what passion behind the bar. Phenomenal cocktails full of balance, ingenuity and traditional cocktails with a twist. Secondly the BBQ bao buns are incredible. And thirdly, just wonderful and welcoming staff. Worth the stop every time during our travels now.

Just peckish not famished. Shared a brisket and Cole slaw with my spousal unit. Perfect amount. The brisket was spot on! No knife required, tender, juicy and delicious. The Cole slaw was excellent! Best I've had and a generous portion! Both the ladies who served us were courteous, knowledgeable and speedy. I found the prices reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in on our way through Sicamous as husband had a craving.
We ordered the brisket, the pulled pork, the cornbread and the pasta salad. The meats were tender and rich, but needed a bit of seasoning. Good thing you get your choice of 5 sauces to slather on! Our favourite was the Carolina Mustard. The cornbread was buttery and delicious, even without the honey butter! A must-order!
What made the meal so enjoyable was the cheerful and attentive servers, and the beautiful outdoor patio seating. All in all a great time!
Yes, it was slow, but they let us know and make the choice. The servers were so pleasant despite being completely slammed. The food was more than worth the lengthy wait. Highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you go to The Narrows, do yourself a favor and sit in Merina’s section. She remembered our order without writing it down (basically a human cheat code) and somehow delivered it faster than I can refresh WiFi when Netflix freezes.
She has the perfect timing—never hovering like an overprotective aunt, but always swooping in like a BBQ fairy godmother right when my napkin supply was about to hit crisis mode.
Merina makes you feel like you’re her favorite table, even though the entire restaurant is clearly her fan club. If the food is the reason you come to The Narrows, Merina is the reason you’ll keep coming back. 10/10 would ask for her section again, even if it meant arm wrestling the hostess.
