I tried to eat here several weeks ago on the patio. I had my three month old with me in a compact Nuna stroller. The host, was not friendly and told us we could not bring the stroller into the restaurant patio and it would have to be placed outside the restaurant on the sidewalk!!! My stroller is expensive, why would I leave it on the sidewalk where it could be stolen?! I have never felt so discriminated against in my life as a mother with a baby. No other restaurant has had an issue with a stroller just your restaurant!! There was plenty of room on the patio with the stroller placed up next to the table. I went to the Sidney Bistro where I had a lovely meal and the hostess there never brought up our stroller being an issue on the patio and enjoyed seeing my baby! Your restaurant openly discriminates against families! Do better!

Wow! This must be a horrible place to work because their employees are miserable. I give the whole experience a big fat ZERO! We regret not walking out just based on the man greeting you at the door. Very rude and immediately showed us what a burden we were even though the restaurant was 1/2 empty .The nachos had one clump of cheese on the top three chips and that was it. Lip stick on the glasses 🥴We never saw hide nor hair of our waitress. she didn’t even come to see how our meal was. Never offered another drink ! nothing. would never go back, which is too bad because their location is fantastic. Too bad a great restaurant wasn’t located there.
Wow! Probably the best panini sandwich I have ever had! Also my wife had a huge chicken wrap that she loved. Great breads and coffee also.

Great service!
The food was fantastic, the view was gorgeous. The service was friendly, and our server was super sweet. We almost didn't try here because of some complaints on Google, so I wanted to share our experience. I feel some areas of improvement needed here are the time it takes to get a menu and drinks, and you should always be given salt and pepper (or it should be on table already), not have to get up and ask for it. If it was really busy, that is understandable, but this was at 1130am on a Monday. It was quiet. Would still come back as these things (that others also pointed out) are easily fixed with awareness and training. The food, location, and friendliness are plenty of reasons to come back. :)
Location and atmosphere is beautiful. Food was good. Unfortunately, service was terrible from the beginning. We got a dirty glass with lipstick stain. Ordered glasses of rose, server asked us if we wanted 5 or 9 ounces and then we are brought one size and told we don’t get a choice. Asked for refills of water- had to ask twice. Asked for a hot water, server never brought it and after asking for it twice, finally brought it at the end of the meal and charged us for the hot water. Server never apologetic or hospitable. Even when we asked for the bill, she made a snide remark.
I have never been to a restaurant that charges for a mug of water and will never frequent again or recommend this restaurant again.

Sadly this place never fails to disappoint. Just a wonderful location to enjoy Sidney’s excellent waterfront, but the food is low quality GFS processed stuff. Staff are pleasant, wine selection very limited. Sort of a white Spot experience with a great view!

Being a local we have given the 10 Acers at the Pier the Ol'College try and they have consistently let us down
From sitting for a good 10 mins pls for even a drink order to 35 pls for drinks to arrive. So truly disappointed. We had a few good experiences here then we have had more bad. Sadly we want to rave a local business but unfortunately the management clearly have more then a few kinks to work out.
Tonight for our last kick at the can we stopped in for some snacks and drinks.
We ordered our drinks and snacks at the same time. Food arrived way before any drinks. Servers dropped off drinks later, never quality checked our snacks. We ended up flagging down another server and ordered 1 beer for my hubby and our bill.
Server brought our bill and we paid. Hubby waited for 13 exact minuted after paying his bill and never received his beer and we pulled the plug for the last time.
Always had such great experiences at the downtown location unfortunately the location within walking distance to our home.... we will never be back. We have it the Ol' College try.

The oysters were delicious and the service was great. We also had the shrimp avocado salad and the waygu dumplings and they were both delicious. I highly recommend this place

The food was okay and overpriced. The staff weren't friendly or unfriendly. Food and drinks came out in random order. They forgot one of the drinks in my order.

The mussels and clams were delicious - I got the tomato and chorizo sauce and it was great. Oysters were also good. Others at my table got the seafood cannelloni, which was smaller than we expected and they were still a little hungry after, however, they said it was tasty. We sat outside and it was a great atmosphere with the nice fires. Waitresses were nice.

A restaurant that does make an effort to bring in food locally and produce delicious grain, free meat and vegetable entrées

The bread and butter pudding is a fun dessert, wish it was sweeter, but the texture is really nice. Food is good, local. The rhubarb sour wasn't as flavourful as I thought, still nice though. Food is pricey but the ingredients are so fresh. Very convenient location in Sidney.
