Fantastic for a date night! It's small and cute and the food just as suggested is elevated and divine! I love that it's small it makes it more intimate and reminds me of small nice restaurants in Europe.

Unpretentious high-end restaurant with great food. Well presented, excellent flavors, and solid wine list. Seats about 30 people. If you want to treat yourself and a friend, come here.
I had the halibut and the brie appetizer, and a very nice rose.

This restaurant was an amazing little find. Everything about it ticked all the boxes. Hidden away in Sidney by the Sea, it is a must do if you like fine dining. We enjoyed the entire meal and the wine recommendation very much. Service was excellent and the ambiance is spectacular. Please support this restaurant as I would not want to see it go, as they have done it right!
Went out for a date night here tonight and it was delicious! Super reasonable prices, and amazing service. We also had a lovely waitress who went above and beyond. We actually quite enjoyed the smaller atmosphere as there’s plenty of big restaurants out there so it was a nice change - honestly felt really warm and intimate in there. We will definitely be back!

The food was very good, except my husband's duck breast was a bit tough. It was presented cut along the grain instead of traditionally served in several slices cut across the grain. He also wished there was a bit more green on the plate.
Well done! Don't overlook the bread starter. Made on site, served with salted butter and infused olive oil. We had ours with olives. My wife had the duck and I had the lamb. Both were excellent. Very nicely done. A French flair with Edith Piaf music in the background! Thanks.
We went for our anniversary this week and caught Happy Hour, so we tried a bunch of appetizers as well as sampling some of the custom cocktails. Kade our server was exceptional and the pace was unhurried. I love how small and intimate it is. Coffee and dessert were both delicious. It is nice to see a restaurant of this level on the Island.
Vegetarian options: Not many vegitarian options
Dietary restrictions: We don't have any so we are unable to comment on this
Kid-friendliness: I would take teens but not small children
Wheelchair accessibility: I am unsure if the door is wide enough for a standard wheel chair and the parking makes the door somewhat difficult to approach

Outstanding food and atmosphere. Prices and portion sizes were great. Fabulous music and great service. Noticed all the little details with the presentation and the tableware. So glad we came across this restaurant while we were visiting Sidney, BC from Ontario. It made our anniversary dinner extra special. Thanks for the complimentary champagne!! Look forward to visiting again when we are in the area. Will highly recommend this restaurant to any friends or family visiting Sidney!!

We had a great experience at Atelier. The cocktails were excellent as was the house wines that we tried. We tried some happy hour items and the halibut main. The halibut was superb
We made a reservation and was sat beside the kitchen, which was disappointing. Food was good but sides were missed on my dinner. Menu was confusing for a french restaurant - tacos, sliders and tagliatelle? Service was alright given that she was the only front staff, but definitely a bit absent.
We won't be back unfortunately.

The food is excellent and portions large (unexpected for French food). The ambiance was great. We dined on a Monday evening and despite an almost full house there was only one server for about 9 tables. She was also the hostess, bus person, bar tender. She was superb. Things moved a wee slow - but overall service was excellent. I understand they have more staff on other nights. A real find in Sidney. You will jot be disappointed.

Personable and well informed server who could help me adapt the chef's delicious entrees for my allergy. Food quality is excellent, dishes are creative without being overdone.
SPECTACULAR!!! We did happy hour and tried an array of chef's specialties...everything was "top drawer" awesome and an experience definitely to be repeated. ALSO sampled several of the specialty cocktails which were divine. This is a must dining experience, a hidden secret in Sidney by the Sea!!!
