The atmosphere is very cool , the service and food are excellent. We have been for Happy Hour , Dinner & lounge experience and they were all wonderful.
Once again Matt Jackson and his expert team deliver a fabulous evening of cocktails and delectable morsels. Loved it all.
A wonderful experience great food and wine pairings. Great to have such a wonderful restaurant in Sidney.
If you are in the area you must stop by that Sidney gem. Amazing food simple and elegant at the same time. Everything was perfect.
It was great to get to spend time with Matt and Cade and also learn about some great wines!
The food and service were outstanding. My cousin and I were originally going for happy hour so small bites but the food was so good we ended up sharing the tuna tartare, which had a little kick and so scrumptious, the seafood steamer with clams, mussels, scallops and prawns all so tender and the sauce so delicious we ordered a side of bread to absorb all the sauce, the herb crusted lamb cooked perfectly and though we were so full and hadn't anticipated on eating so much topped the dinner off with the chocolate delice, oh so chocolately rich. I highly recommend the restaurant and reserving first.
An excellent spot for fine dining. The staff was very good and friendly but should practice where to place cutlery and glasses for a fine dining establishment and be consistent in it's placement.
We very much enjoyed our first visit to this place and plan to return. The location in Sidney is easy to get to and we were able to take advantage of their off street parking. Inside, the decor is dramatic and welcoming, with dark blue walls and lighter works of art adorning them. The menu is not extensive but there seems to be something for everybody. As well as a la carte choices there were two different table d'hotes: a 3 and a 5 course option. We each opted for a three course: one featuring rack of lamb and the other ling cod. The lamb was excellent but the fish was a bit over cooked and there were too many capers in the cream sauce. One notable aspect of this restaurant is the wine list. It displays a lot of thought, with good choices of Okanagan and European wines. The latter had many wines that are rarely, if ever, seen on retail shelves. Bravo! It's wonderful to have another fine dining option in the area and we look forward to returning.
While the menu is limited by design, it offers interesting choices, and all of the ones our party ordered were delicious. Great food, great service, and well worth the visit. We will be back!
We had an absolutely lovely evening at their wine pairing tasting evening. There was some confusion regarding our reservation and yet they were able to accommodate us on a busy sold out event. The food was amazing and the wine pairing both delicious and spot on. We had a wonderful time with the staff who were all friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.

Our new favourite restaurant! Everything was excellent: food, service, ambience, drinks, music, accomodating a vegetarian... We had a fantastic meal and we can't wait to return!

✨ Where art meets food. ✨
L’Atelier is a little treasure tucked away in the heart of Sidney. Sophisticated and intimate, it’s the perfect spot for a special occasion. The menu is refined and thoughtfully crafted—a true delight for the connoisseur. A beautiful experience where every detail feels intentional. Highly recommend!

My rating is based on the service only. We had a reservation for our anniversary however they cancelled on us the day of via email due to an event they were having. My husband replied to the email asking for a spot on the next two Sundays but never received a reply. We had also tried booking with them previously via email per their website when they first opened but never received a call back.

I believe this may be the best restaurant in town. The service is outstanding, what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant in a big city. The food, excellent. I had the trout with the scallop starter. My partner had the pork loin chop. Everything was seasoned nicely and tasted great. My only critique is the music which revolved primarily around old Dean Martin songs. Admittedly most of the clients might have been of a certain generation but what about the rest of us Gen X’rs. Remember, those people won’t be around much longer. Think about the young 50 somethings ;)
