Charming coffee shop right on beacon ave. My decaf latte and pumpkin scone were both amazing, and the staff are very friendly.

Good food with great service. I had a chai latte and tried the bacon n egger / ham n egger. I highly recommend the ham.n eager! 💯

Quiet spot for a simple breakfast on a pleasant rainy Saturday morning. I love the bright interior owing to its corner location and larger windows. The seating arrangement and decor still make it a cozy place - no fish bowl. The scone and cappuccino were prepared quickly and served at table by the friendly staff. The scone was soft and fresh. Parking on week days would be a tad difficult but it was easy this Saturday morning.

The fabric on the chair was stained and torn. We shall not be returning.

After some bad experiences, I have made it my policy not to tip at the cashier counter where I order and prepay. Perhaps that is why I (a solo diner) was directed to sit on one of the high chairs at the window-aligned bar when only one comfy-chaired table was occupied. The important part, the food, for me was the “veggie egger” and it was by far the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. Lovely flavours and textures as if prepared with care. The coffee wasn’t a standout but acceptable.

The employee was dismissive, forgot our coffee order and said we never ordered coffee.

Fast service, friendly staff and hot coffee. Good selection of soups, sandwiches and baked goods. Only thing missing is a Rueben sandwich. :) I highly recommend Beacon Café.

Very well made sandwiches and soups. It is clear they take pride in their ingredients, the Chicken Coconut Curry soup was a meal in its own right, and the cookies were a fun bonus. We ended up eating here twice, after getting off the ferry from Vancouver and again when on the way to the ferry to Salt Spring.

An interesting little place, great stop for breakfast. The breakfast sandwich was rather small for the price but I'll be back to try the baked goods and other offerings
