I happened to be in Sidney around lunch time and saw this place tucked away between two bigger building just off of Beacon on 2nd. Went in to get a sandwich for lunch. Wow, some many choices for topping and condiments on their sandwiches, and the price is so cheap. Really impressed by the sandwich I had and will definitely go again whenever I am in Sidney.

Delicious food prepared in Cheffy’s own kitchen, good selection of
British food, very convenient when cooking isn’t an option, great variety, inexpensive (the fewer visits to the supermarket, the more the savings), the menu changes each week and friendly, helpful staff. Hint: Their delicious scones, with a different variety every week, are very popular and sell out quickly, so it’s a good idea to order them early in the week. 🥮

What can I say about Julie, Toni and the staff? Outstanding. I buy food there fairly often, but my favorite is Christmas dinner with ginger carrot soup. Julie won't give me the recipe! :) The food here is fantastic and just the right amount. They work hard to make their food great. I'm glad to support this local business in Sidney.

I have been meaning to come for years and was extremely glad I did!!I got a frozen beef stew and green beans and a fresh Seasfood Normandy with scalloped potatoes and a delicious squash carrot mash!I will 100% go again. And then probably again lol 100% recommended!!

We went to Chef on the Run for the first time, looking for convenience. We found the staff to be pleasant and helpful. The vegetables were absolutely delicious. However we found the meat to be a disappointment. The portions were very generous, but way more than I would want to eat for a meal. We tried chicken, and pork and found them both to be dry, tough, and flavourless. I am sure that some people would find the meals to their taste however.

This squeaky clean, warm and friendly takeout shop has the best "home cooked" selection of take home meals. The quality and generous portions truly rival other prepared meals that i have seen. The choices of entrees are delicious and the variety of veggie choices is super healthy and extensive. They even deliver to many places. Their individual chicken pies are delicious, too!

Great value for money and good service. Ordered two turkey dinners and they were delicious. We both have large appetites so I wondered if there would be enough food but the meals were a decent size. Follow up call to confirm our order was appreciated and meals were ready when we arrived to collect.If you want no fuss meals at home you should try Chef On The Run!
