Fresh Tandoori Flavour Indian Restaurant Sidney

I didn’t have a reservation but was seated right away and looked after. They answered all the questions we had about the food and were great hostess!

We had a lovely meal here with personal recommendations right for us and also we took one buffet. Got to try new flavours, and even walked away with take out. Highly recommended place awesome food and wonderful customer service. Thank you will definitely come back.

What a disappointment! We are long time customers (10 plus years) and won’t be going back.
For the third time in a row now (last year our Christmas dinner) and tonight our Christmas dinner we’ve left utterly disappointed.

To start with we were greeted with less than enthusiasm at the door. That’s the least of the issues. 2 out of 3 of our meals were delivered cold, and both with the incorrect level of spice. We had to again (same as last time) repeatedly ask for our Naan bread which came far after our meals arrived. To make things even worse- one of us was given their meal and then our two other meals were brought out 15-20 minutes later and then 25 minutes later. We were all served at separate times.

We then paid the bill - no discount whatsoever and left without so much as a thank you from any staff- the restaurant wasn’t even busy.

Completely unappreciative of our business and insulting. We gave this multiple chances- we are now done and won’t be back.

The chicken tikka masala was so yummy and I ate the whole thing, even though it was quite heavy for one person.Tandoori tikka chicken was tender and went well with the sauce and vegetables samosa was also really delicious . Perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing.”

This was our luxury order for 2 (with lots of leftovers): Samosa Chaat (#21), Assorted Tandoori Platter (#38), Masala Prawn (#53), extra rice (87), and 2 orders of Naan (#102 & #106).

The mango (sweet and like a dessert) & coconut (mild, a little salty but in a great way & sweet as a natural coconut - perfect for taming the famous Indian spices) lassi’s were amazing.

The desserts: Rice Pudding (cold & lots of cardamom — yum!) and Gulab Jamun (warm) were so delicious and complemented each other well both in taste and temperature!

Our two waitresses were lovely and very helpful to recommend items, and search for an item I had been recommended by brief description only.

Super relaxing atmosphere and comfortable seating. Great gem of a place! :)

This is our go to Indian restaurant. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. The staff are very nice even though we always seem to do takeout. I don’t like spicy food but I really enjoy the clean but distinct flavours. It’s not over spiced but definitely fully of flavour.

Vegetarian options: Great selection as well as options for dietary concerns.

Parking: Although the restaurant shares the parking lot with another store whenever I come in the evening for dinner pick up I always find a spot close by. Lots of spots available.

Very good! Strong flavours & aromas made me walk into this awesome little spot. Food was delicious & service was great. I’ll be back!

We had takeout. The chicken was tough and dry. The naan bread was the worst we have ever had. We threw EVERYTHING away. I was up ALL night with indigestion and in and out of the bathroom. We would NEVER go back.

Terrific food. Generous portions. Helpful service. Very pleased meal.
