Absolutely delicious traditionally prepared foods that dance on the palate.
Had the agedashi tofu, the bacon kimchi rice bowl, and a spicy avo salmon roll. Everything exceeded expectations, the sauces highlighted the mains perfectly.

Service was indifferent to say the least. Miso soup was a small portion that was an unpleasant tepid temperature and brought to the table after the main course f
was delivered . We were asked if we wanted peanut sauce on our rice which they later charged extra for but didn't intimate there was a charge. No tea was offered.

Ramen was okay, but i expected more flavour, being on the island. Either way, it’s still a nice little spot to have a bowl of hot soup

I asked for extra peanut sauce and said I’d be willing to pay a dollar for it (rather than the usual 50 cents like it said on the menu) for extra peanut sauce. They gave me the extra sauce but then charged me $2.50 for the sauce. When I brought up that I said I’d pay only a dollar, they said “oh we gave you a bit amount.” Totally dishonest! Was a regular customer but will not be returning again

We had the chicken lunch Bento Box. Was so good, probably the best Bento box I have had in a long time on the Island. I wish they had Gyoza sauce, ginger and Wasabi with the Bento Box. Very cool Japanese/Korean fusion place. Looking forward to going back.

I love to come in here for lunch or dinner. Friendly staff, delicious and fresh food. I normally go for the chicken teriyaki rice bowl and a sushi roll of some sort. I'm happy to keep coming back and supporting this local business!!!

Fantastic food with a wide selection of sushi, ramen and more. Staff are professional and friendly and prices are incredibly reasonable. I would go there everyday if I could.

Vegetarian options: A good number of veggie options.

Overpriced - 5 super thin slices of carrots & 3 pcs of mushroom, way too much onion, okay amount of beef & almost too much sprouts; container of food was only half full. Other restaurants give 1 & 1/2 times as much rice. Kimchi is the typical side serving in Korean food, yet there was no side of Kimchi. The flavour is alright in a pinch, but lacks the wow factor I know of other bulgogi's I have had. Definitely need to give a full container of food for asking price.

Caution! This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I've had in BC. The owner demanded a higher service charge even before taking our order or serving food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Small family ran business here. The spicy chicken yaki udon was soooo good. It motivated me to learn how to cook this at home so I could eat this every day.I've tried replicating this at home about 10 times but still can't get it to taste as good as the yaki udon here.I'll be eating here next time I visit Victoria.Oh and the server here was really nice.Prices are higher than Vancouver prices but that's how it seems to be in Sidney/Victoria.

Japanese restaurant. The menu is not very rich. One portion is a bit small because two people have to eat 3 portions to be full. The rice used to make sushi seems a bit dry. The price is a bit expensive. There is public parking in the shopping area so it is quite convenient. The service staff is fast and friendly.
