Great place to stop before catching a flight out of YYJ. Roast beef special included 2 scoops of mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, vegetables and gravy for 20.95.

Best blue/bleu burger I've ever had.
Poutine added to fries was not in the top 10 I've ever had, but sometimes you lose some.

FOOD is delicious. I had the Seafood Crepes. I loved it! Staff are friendly & fast. It gets busy of course, because it's a great spot to eat. There is outdoor seating under cover, too, plus, out in the sun. We dined inside to avoid the hot sun. Plus, we went after the lunch rush was over.
Such a neat spot! Loved all of the historical items in the restaurant. The servers were friendly and the food was ok.

Food and prices hit the spot.
Pam, our server, was awesome and became even more so when she helped get us a taxi that would carry a passenger and a bicycle with a flat tire.
Thanks Pam!

First off manager wanted to put us way in the back at a large table with empty seats upfront? When asked if we could sit upfront we were given a wobbly table, was sat in front of bar/station where we listened to a loud manager talk negatively regarding others and be quite rude to her staff. We ordered eggs Benny and were given burnt ham and extremely bland food. Other patrons had issues as well, (two tables). I did complain to the waitress who was quite embarrassed, manager never thought to come chat and although was given one of the benny dishes free, we were unimpressed.
Too bad, we had been referred to this place and looked forward to the visit. Might be a one off, but it does make a mention ?
As of today I have received a email to tell me it was NOT the manager, owner wanted me to edit this and to attempt to say I was in the wrong posting this review, many excuses and more. I am editing as I may have been wrong in stating “manager”, but as a customer I have a right to review. I also have zero issues sharing the owners resonse. I will be supporting many of our other wonderful eatery’s
