Ordered a curry and fried rice to go. There were no utensils offered and I had to go out of my way to find utensils somewhere else. The fried rice was extremely salty but the curry was decent.

Went to Sabhai on a recommendation. Food was very good. Price, a little more than I expected, and service, incredibly friendly, but their efficiency made me feel rushed, unfortunately. As a result, I didn't have a relaxed experience.

Been customer since it opened in a less busy Sidney. Chose vegetarian pad thai luncheon special. Simple, healthy, delicate tasting veggie soup, 2 spring rolls, entree...generous sized lunch soothing for my tummy, and a good ? eat.

Absolutely the best Thai food on the island! Family driven and consistently on point.

Too many Bean Counters, not enough beans. Sabhai Thai have mastered the art of 'umami' - which they apply liberally to their noodles. It appears that this very well run business has been shaped by Bean Counters - who are good on business efficiency, but not good in the kitchen. The vegetable meals I purchased were high on noodles and low on beans and vegetables. A real disappointment, compared to the purchases I have made there, previously. Sorry to say, but I will not be rushing back, any time soon.A YEAR LATER: In fact, I did go back, a year later, and I am just as disappointed. Umami flavoured noodles, and not enough vegetable for a vegetable dish. It might be another TWO years before i update this review...

The servers were great but the food was mediocre at best. There are far better thai places at Victoria at a better price

Mayhem! I thought we lucked out getting a table in the restaurant on an especially busy night (Christmas Parade), but unfortunately this meant the staff were going nuts with reservations and take out orders. We felt uncomfortable with a line up of people right next to our table and after ordering we opted to change our order to take out (and gave up our table).. but then for some reason we waited and waited and waited for our meal!?The staff were doing their best under the circumstances, but it was unusually busy. Yet our meal was delicious when we finally got it!There should never be a line up in the middle of a restaurant upsetting anyone wanting a pleasant experience... There should be a dedicated area for pickups...Perhaps we landed in the wrong place on the wrong night!?
