Fantastic beer and a good location. I’d recommend trying one of their sour beers!
Phenomenal brewery and phenomenal food! Small Gods is the best spot in Sidney and one of the best on the island. We'll be back real soon!
It's a beer place that actually makes great beer. Especially the Chocolate Raspberry Porter. It's worth the trip from wherever you are in the world. Porters not your thing? Try the At The Bay Hazy IPA. It's fantastic. Not your thing? There's other beers there for you. But be forewarned, if yer drinking those, yer not my thing. 😉
The staff were super friendly and had a good sense of humor.
I'll be back........from wherever I am in the world.
Small Gods is hands down the BEST brewery on Vancouver Island! We’ve been visiting the brewery since it opened in 2022, and it’s only gotten better! With unique brews, great food, and a dog-friendly patio space, Small Gods is an easy five-star brewery!
Nice place for a beer with a dog on their patio.
Nice beer sand local wines but food is average.
Some off their food items are priced on the high side but others seem good value. Nice patio and when you order you get a number and they bring it to your table. Nice beer selection. Overall, highly recommended.
The staff was super welcoming and given it was our first time, that was very helpful. Food was healthy and good portions. Very flavorful and fresh. I know it’s a brewery but the margaritas are great (a great staff recommendation). Will be back.
The nitro Stoutt is amazing!🤩

Top quality beer, beautiful location and taproom with super friendly staff. The menu is always changing with snacks and delicious deli sandwiches . A good to spot when visiting Sidney
Visiting BC Small Gods was my favorite of all the breweries i visited.
- The beers were flavorful hop forward and had amazing tasting notes
- The Fruit forward beers really had a nice bright taste to them
The reason i didn't put the specific name of the beers for the taste sadly was when i received my flights none of them were labeled and other then taste were pretty hard to differentiate.
Really the only negative thing i can say
But all the beers i had were wonderful and tasty
Went in for a beer and food last Sunday. The ilne up to order was long because each person ahead of me had to read the menu at the cash register before placing the order. If there was a large menu board people could read while in line up it would speed things along. I just ordered a beer, a bowl of potato chips and dip. I waited 20 min for my beer and I reminded the server I had chips and dip coming. He said oh that's going to be a while. I asked two more times but got no where. An hour later I told them I couldn't wait any longer and asked for refund. What I noticed was the person prepping food was also serving the food and bussing the tables. I'd be thete until midnight waiting for my chips and dip. Management really should get the restaurant more organized. Have more staff. I remember having to bring my chips and dip home with me on another occasion because again the order was so late coming out to me that I had to leave before I could eat it.
Went there hungry, ate, and left hungry. Food portions were small, to small in fact. The sandwitches sound great, but the taste came up flat.
Ok, I said I’ll try a beer. I know what I like (IPA’s) they had one on the board, with few other appealing options I’ll try it. Think of mixing beer with bubble gum. A disgusting taste was left in my mouth.
Am I going to go back… no.
This was such a delightful and pleasant dining experience for my family and I. The highlight by far was our server Jordan, whom we shall remember fondly forever for her kind personality, profound knowledge, and sharp wit.
